If they don't fight each other it marks both their career's. You can say it would hurt Floyd worse but people already view his career as full of black marks. With Manny it is reverse his career is sterling. If I have a career that has other black marks why really care because what is one more even if it is bigger and bolder but if you have one black mark on an otherwise sterling career there is really no way to gloss over it because it will stick out. Also no one knows what the future holds and boxing being very much what have you done for me lately it is impossible to tell, I don't see Floyd as being able to retire for a long time (atleast for good) if he can continue winning and beats a couple important guys who knows how people will think of him.
