once again..boxing 101..you cant throw 1000 punches against a moving target..floyd would cut that in half... Highly doubtful...Pac will walk all over Mayweather if it does happen.

Though i personally favor Pac to win against floyd, one cannot discount the fact that pac himself has problems with defensive fighters or those with excellent countering skills. And there is no one in the planet more skilled in that department than Floyd. I guess this just all depends on how well Roach prepares a strategy for that fight and how conditioned Pac will be come fight night. (hopefully, he won't allow himself to be as distracted as usual) Also, we cannot also ignore the very strong possibility of the long term damage Pac received fighting larger, stronger boxers. Nonetheless, i still SLIGHTLY favor Pac over Floyd at this point. Agree but IMO Pacquiao's counter punching skills are also underrated...You can be the best defensive fighter on the planet but if you do not have the power to KO someone like Pacquiao and it goes the distance, who do you think the judges will lean towards? The fighter who works through the 12 rounds throwing punches left, right & centre or the fighter who does nothing but defend all night long?? If this fight does go ahead, I also agree that it could be a pretty boring fight but that all depends on Mayweather. It's not in his game plan to rough it out with boxers..

Pacquiao would destroy Mayweather. Pac's Defense is highly underrated. If he doesnt want to get hit he doesnt get hit because he knows spacing, footwork and footspeed. He would dance circles around Mayweather and then when Mayweather would throw a job he will get countered with blindingly fasts combinations.

Anyone else think that the fight itself would be..dull? I kind of see it like the unstoppable force vs immovable object. Pacquiao will make more of a fight for Mayweather but you need to keep in mind Manny has fought two fighters (clottey and Margarito) stood infront of them so dont jump on the bandwagon. Im not sure how Manny will land punches when hes fighting someone as elusive as Mayweather. ps, im no Paquiao or Mayweather nuthugger.

On current form? Pacquiao by devastating KO around 7-9.
