why didnt tito ever fight mosley

People forget that this fight would of happened at 154. And, how average Shane looked in that weight-class. Fact is Shane was not really elite at 154. Tito was.... Shanes not elite at all at 154 IMO. He has more bad performances at 154 than he does good performances. Shane doesn't beat Tito at 154, i can't see it.

No it isn't,before the Punisher Winky was my favorite fighter,he was probably the strongest jr middleweight fighter there was!!Not punching power,but strength!!Right after they gave Vargas that gift win over him,Winky was a man on a mission,I knew he'd beat them both!! no im saying its funny how he beat them both and like ruined everything from them fighting eachother. hes like the monkey wrench thrown in the plans lol i knew he beat mosley and tito. the tito fight i was in a house full of ricans and omg they thought i was stupid when i said winky is going to win lol. same thing with cotto they thought i was crazy until cotto took them knees.

Mosley has no head movement... no jab ala DLH. He would have been knocked out. Tito's power was way above Mosley's power. oscar had a great jab just no head movement but in his prime he had good footwork. him and mosley used their feet to get away from punches. oscar didnt learn to defend until late in his career when he got with floyd sr

DLH was a better boxer than Trinidad and he lost, Trinidad was a puncher with one punch. Trinidad fought in straight lines. Mosley would have had target practice. Mosley by UD. But this is a fantasy match up, so really just say your opinions, don't get mad at other people's opinions. It's a fight that will never happen, but I think Mosley's handspeed, power in both hands, and footwork back in the day would have gotten him the UD against a guy with one punch. noones getting mad. or name calling or anything. i respect your opinion. tito was a much better boxer than mosley though. not as good as oscar. tito also had a good right cross and good body work. and was the best finisher his jab would caused mosley problems. mosley was the brawler more than a boxer. mosley would have been jsut as much target practice as tito. its who can take who punches and who would back down. i dont see either at that point of their career backing down which what makes this a great fight

Tito also didn't fight Terry Norris who was just one division above him @ jr middle for years. cosign tito weakness is a good boxer he cant get pass a jab even if his life depends on it. Its funny how cotto is tito successor he able to get threw good boxers but falls apart against big punchers. I guess we cant have it both ways its one or the other. cotto could handle boxers better because of his movement and he adjust. tito stays the same way stalking you the whole time. cotto at 140 wasa stalker as well but he had better footwork than tito. and you need good footwork to handle a boxers movement. coto cut the ring off really well. his downfall is when he started to believe he was a good boxers and abandoned his stalking agressive body attack.

i think that would have been a huge fight. after mosley beat oscar the first time. why didnt they set that up? i know tito was starting to campaign at 154 but mosley went up to 54 anyway. i guess catchweights wasnt popular. but i think this would been a great fight. everytime i think about it i find a way for the other to win. i jsut cant come to a final conclusion who would win. He was suppose to fight Mosley but Mosley lost to Wright and Tito end up fighting wright. Not quite. Mosely didn't fight Wright until way after in 2004.

I think they were gonna fight but becuase elected to fight winky wright first before the proposed felix trinidad mega fight he ended up losing to wright in 2 matches and felix trinidad ended up going to middleweight where the ''executioner'' bernard hopkins shocked the boxing world and knocked him out. Yep, took him 12 rounds too lol... to knock out a bloated WW at MW. The only one shot Tito hit him with that was decent the ref stepped in for some stupid crap too...

Props to Mosley for that. That was when nobody wanted any part of Winky. DLH, Trinidad, or Forrest, none of them wanted Winky because he was a high-risk low-reward type of fighter. Same with Margarito, Mosley fought Margarito when nobody but Paul Williams was willing to fight him. Crazy thing is he fought Winky twice even after being dominated the first time. maybe your right because mayoga and plaster boy have simliar styles to tito . then again mosley has a useless jab and very short arms for his height.
