instead of baldomir back in 2006----he would have been bashed for not fighting baldomir instead wouldn't he have? you dumbasses are so stuck on floyd ducking tony coz you're grasping onto to anything you can to bash this kid---yet--floyd wanted to fight cotto instead of margarito for 10 million dollars and arum said hell no---so he fought the actual wbc champion in baldomir---and the media was calling for this fight when the fight with de la hoya didn't go through---now----floyd fighting tony would have been a bad move for him---floyd fought the former and current ww champs in judah and baldomir----nobody was talking about margarito except for margarito himself---then he loses to paul williams and people wanted floyd to fight cotto---but floyd didn't want to work with bob arum--floyd has never ducked any fukking fighter--you ass clowns on here don't really know the business like i do and a few others on here---floyd has never ducked cotto----bob arum has been a stain in this sport for years--it's arum--not his fighters--floyd is spitting in bob's face and i love it--- bob arum is an evil force in boxing--- for those who read this and try to rebuttal it, please come correct because lame as jokes won't cut it in this thread---i will put you on ignore--and i have never put anyone on ignore since i've been apart of these forums back in 2006---if you can actually argue correctly, then i'll wlcome and disagreements---if you think you know more than me--then please let me know--but no dumb comments-- oh yeah, and people weren't thinking about margarito when floyd fought oscar and ricky---had floyd not have fought those guys--he would have been bashed like no other--he's in a no win situation--except for when he fights in the ring---then's he in a no lose situation--coz he doesn't know how to lose anymore---the amateurs were a long time ago now kids----lol M.I.C.-pm me if you read this--or any other floyd fans---i have a question 4 u guys----

i know vic denied after nonito ko'd him before, but vic wants that fight now and won't shut up about it after fights. shaw is also being a bi tch about it cuz donaire left him but he said he'll do it cuz vic wants it. you'd be a better promoter than arum, i think. you know guys with money and how to get it out of them we'll see. either way it doesn't matter anymore. they should have fought the rematch asap. the result won't be any different from the 1st anyway.

yeah because you know more than top rank. give me a break. they're doing the best they can. yeah put him on andre ward card because top rank promotes andre ward. it's up to nonito too. nonito makes more money , even though arum doesn't , on those pinoy power cards as well. it's not all on arum. if arum could work together with anyone then he could get with goosen, he would have to sacrafice a up front from goosen cuz ward's already a draw. i can't believe you have the nerve to defend arum on this AND make excuses for him. top rank is nonito's promoter and his career has been on hold since his biggest win. lolz at you blaming his competition, not bob arum. so for 3 years, the best promoter in the world made donaire's name disappear from the concious of the casual boxing fan and it's because all of donaire's possible comp was scared to fight him because of the risk reward???????????????????????????? i guess top rank is smarter than me because they couldn't figure out a way to make anything happen for donaire.

The most recent example of this was the proposed Nonito Donaire-Vic Darchinyan rematch, which was really just beginning to touch on some heavy revenue issues when Arum declared the fight a “done deal.” A day or two after the “Done Deal” statement in BS (of course), the fight collapsed over those same hotly-contested matters. The impression left on some casual, lesser-informed fans was that Donaire was already signed on to fight and it was Darchinyan who walked away. The truth of the matter, though, was that negotiations were still ongoing when Arum, probably sensing a falling apart of the proposed bout, went to the press (in breach of professional protocol) with his statement. As a matter of fact, sources say that Darchinyan’s signature was the only one on the contract and that the fight fell apart before Donaire could even have a chance to sign. and in the end shaw and arum came up with a deal. darchinyan walked away AFTER the deal was done.
