Mosley v Pacquiao

love Shane, and a few years ago it would be a very competitive/even fight. But now, i can see Shane getting stopped. Shane's power isnt all that anymore (didn't even hurt Sergio ****ing Mora), and his legs arent there either. Pac can take shane's best shots, and probably wouldn't get hit flush often Pac by stoppage (nazim throws the towel in)

No way. mosley can take a shot and clinches, more like a 12 round ass whipping. Yes he can. Something Cotto, Clottey and Margarito don't even know how to do.....hence they constantly getting hit.....it's different if you grab the guy and lean all over him.

It will be a brutal KO for the old Mosley... The old man should give it up and retire.

Mosley would have to KO pac in the 1st two rounds or he gets absolutely destroyed. mosley would not be able to keep up with pac's pace and would get a brutal beating.

Pac is there to be hit.......that's what makes this interesting. We know Shane can land a bomb of a right hand and his even better punch is a bomb of a left hook to the body or head. He could hurt Pac. He only hit Floyd cleanly twice and hurt him badly with both shots. He also has a reach advantage and is a two handed fighter. This is why despite the poor showing against Mora i don't think Arum will risk this, and i don't think Roach will want it either. To me talk of Pac fighting Shane is pie in the sky. Shane has problems with boxers who move and jab. If Pac fights that way he could cruise to a decision. If he wants to brawl (he usually does) that is Shane's neighbourhood there. He wants you coming in and brawling. He wants a shootout. He want's to pit his strength, power and speed against yours. What he doesn't want is to get popped by a consistent jab and chase you all over the ring. I want to see it. Have for a long time. To me even at this stage it is more meaningful than Clottey, Margarito and Cotto.

Mosley is not chasing pacquiao and Manny is no Mora I would say that Mosley has 6 or 7 rounds window to KO or TKO Manny if he misses it then Manny gets a late TKO or UD

Shane isnt good with mobile boxer OR boxers with skills. The dude gasses out. If you havent seen the mora fight youll know mosley was having problems finding this guy

Do you think a fresh Mosley (i.e. first two rounds) could put away a Pacquiao who is there to be hit? I'm sure Mosley could put Pac away, in the first 2 rounds. Of course, he's gonna have to catch him first. Pac's footspeed is too much for an older Shane. I doubt Pac would be there for Mosley to hit early on. I don't think he would test Mosley's power, at least the first couple rounds. That would be suicide for Pac. Cotto, Hatton, and Margarito are good punchers, but don't hit like Mosley does. That was a beautiful shot (2 actually) that Shane landed on Mayweather, but Floyd usually starts off slow in his fights, so he's more vulnerable in the early rounds compared to someone like Manny, who is a relatively quick starter and warms up really early.

8 years ago I would take Shane all day....today Pac would knock him out early

I see Shane taking a whole bunch of combinations early, as his defense is as bad as Pac's, with nothing to answer back as Pac's footwork would be too quick for him. And by the 4th round, he would be exhausted. Than I see me lighting Bob Arum's car on fire for making this fight Prime vs Prime, I see a really good compatetive fight, giving the edge to shane, based mostly on punching power.
