Yeah it had nothing to do with Mayweather. They made a joke about retired boxers looking battered and sounding punch drunk doing commentary. The mangled faced boxers first name was Floyd. Last name made up. Anyone who watches family Guy knows They don't hesitate to use your name if they want to make a joke about you. when you get clowned on by family guy, it means you've made it into to mainstream public's consciousness. considering they didn't name wifebeater specifically, I don't think they were talking about wifebeater.

TS, they weren't making fun of Floyd Mayweather. They were making fun of Patterson. smh In the episode, Lois starts boxing in the women's circuit and then has this big fight ala Rocky III with a woman that looks like Clubber Lang. Before the fight, we see the commentator talking to the TV viewers about factors going into the fight and the commentator introduces (beside him) an heavyweight champion that'll comment as well. The camera zooms out and we see this guy with a huge deformed face and his name pops up below him: FLOYD WETHERTON. He slurs and speaks unintelligibly and the commentator just agrees with whatever he mumbles since he can't speak very well. Watch Family Guy more often, it's hilarious! :boxing:

Had nothing to do with Mayweather beyond the character being name Floyd. It was more a jab at boxing in general and the effects of life as a fighter.
