Pacquiao gave the man a brutal beatdown but even when he knew he couldn't win he wanted to finish the fight.
true to his word, ''I won't quit, I'll die in the ring''
respect to you margarito.
and congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for another amazing performance! :)
I'm not a pactard, but Manny coulda finished it if he really wanted to...u could tell he went easy on Marg towards the end.
Yea and that shows the kind of person Pacquiao is he even looked at the ref in the 11th almost asking him to stop the fight, he did the same in Cotto's fight.
He is a true gentleman inside and outside the ring.. Respect
Rewatch the end of the 11th round when Margarito wants to quit on his stool and his cornermen force him to go out.
really? I thought it was Garcia and the others wanting him to call it quits. I saw him shaking his head like ''no I wanna finish the fight''
but oh well,
he had guts nonetheless,
congratulations to Manny!
They did, but the HBO commentators said that it was the opposite, which was complete bullsh!t.
Margarito had to talk them into letting him stay in the fight, I thought they were going to throw in the towel in the 11th, but they let him hang in there. Margarito never wanted to quit.
Margs went on straight lines no angles, no footwork, or handspeed. He is still a great warrior, and depsite the infamous scandal, he showed he has a heart of a champion. I think he came close in RD6 to getting Pac down in the ropes, but he was too slow to pin down for long, Pac escaped the ropes.
I thought a cross arms and crab like defense would have protected him from getting caught between the gloves,it was a system that worked well for guys like Foreman and Archie Moore, Pac landed over 400 punches on him. I don't think margs should fight again.
