Did Pavlik pulling out actually help this card?

At first I thought Pavlik withdrawing hurt this card but I think Rios replacing him, with all the trash talk and controversy, actually ended up being a good thing.

I wasn't thinking it helped from a quality of fight stand point, but rather from the controversy. I think it helped market the fight to non-boxing or less than die-hard fans.

I like Pavlic and I thought Pavlic/Vera was going to be good. However I have no room for sadness at this moment.

I don't think so, I was actually looking forward to seeing Pavlik fight again. Plus Rios looks drained and took the fight on hella short notice, he won't be in top form.
