Think it's true although, Harry Greb and Max Baer have both been reported to have had sex in the dressing room before a fight and both had good stamina, especially Greb.
Yeah but looked what happened to him in the actual ring.I watched 'Sports Science' the other day and they tested it. Chris Byrd did a series of tests, speed, power, endurance etc. and then the same tests a week later after having sex the night before. The test results, if not stayed the same actually increased.

months and months of preparation for conditioning and it will be gone for 1 night sex..so no! not a good idea
How so? Is there some scientific truth or just psychological warfare?
I guess its all in the individual
I have a few amateur fights under me and countless highschool and collegiate wrestling matches under my belt and I always use to have sex before and it never affected my performance.
I wonder if there is some scientific research on the topic
So here boxers always say it makes you weak in your knees if they have sex before a fight, is there real truth to that?:boxing:
Its possible, in the sense that it could probably take away SOME of your strength. (not necessarily make you weak in your knees though)
I dunno, but its worth millions to cream all over a beautiful womans face before a fight, after fight, mid fight, whatever.
No broad's snatch is worth that much mate. As a fighter making those kind of purses, it's wiser to not take the chance until the fight is over with.
I think it just depends on the individual. For me I know it would make me lazy & not want to feel like doing anything, so i wouldn't have sex before a fight
