Everybody wants to pay to see Pacman fight.. the casuals Will only pay to see Pacman and a select handful of fighters.. If this cheater somehow manages a win.. boxing is dead for the near future until a new superstar emerges.. Marg is a tough fighter but he really isnt capable of pulling it off i dont think
i'm new here and i'm very excited for this fight!
you don't know what happen here in the philippines, everytime Pac fight all filipinos will watch the match so no traffics and no crimes!
@Allucard Pacquiao had a reason to 'duck' the blood test he had a bad experience in 2005 in the fight against Morales they wanted a blood test 1 month before the fight from Pac but 2 days before the fight they requested another blood test because they 'lost' his medical record... and i think Mayweather knew about this...
i would like to post the videointerview but i don't have enough posts so search
''Pacquiao Weakened by blood test before the first Morales fight!''
lol you guys act like if Pac loses, he vanishes in to thin air. You're probably the same ones who strongly believe that you have to have '0' loss to be considered 'a great fighter.'
The thing is, win or lose, as long as Pac performed great and entertained his fans and it's a war, then both fighters deserve kudos. Pac doesn't sell himself as a fighter with winning streak, he sells himself as an 'exciting fighter.' He never promises a win, but only to perform well for his fans. If you still don't know this about Pac, then I can't help you.
I agree. Pacquiao has his mind right, i hate his fans though and didn't like how he ducked under the drug tests, that is all. He's still a very exciting fighter.

Another idiot who thinks boxing is some kind of brain surgery.
So who do you think will win in this fight if you're so bright.
boxing is a very complicated sport, u need to follow the sport closely for some time before u will understand the mechanics of a fight at the highest level. in other words the so called idiot u responded to is right, mainstream fans who as he put it seen pacs last 4 fights and think they know the sport are wrong.
and as for pac-margarito pac will win easily, margarito is tailor made for him. strenght alone cant overcome what pac has, unless u have 1 punch KO power which tony doesnt. hes too slow and predictable to hit pac and as hes plodding straight forward throwing wide punches with close to no defense pac will fukk him up. mismatch.
boxing will not die if Pac leaves the sport or loses his fight with Marg.
But definitely it will hurt boxing popularity when Pac retires. He brought a lot of casual fans, non boxing fans (before Pac came) into the sport.
Boxing won't be dead to us, the true boxing fans. However, I think boxing would be dead to the mainstream again. As much as people on this forum hate to admit it, boxing without the mega stardom of Floyd and Pacquaio, would be a step backward for boxing's interest to the casual fans and media.
We have a lot of talent and some star power in boxing, but grooming these boxers to be on a status similar to Floyd and Manny won't happen overnight.

This is a fight I cant specificially make a choice.
- If Marg has been using illegal wraps more than just when he got caught against Mosley, or if Marg is over the hill and washed up since he had a layoff after losing his license and hasn't fought an elite caliber opponent in a min.. then Pac-Man wins by KO.
- BUT, if Margarito still has something left in him after all the stuff going on lately, and is the same fighter who used to be called "The Most Feared Man in Boxing" then Margarito should win.
So depending which Margarito is left will end up playing a role into the fights outcome.
Losing is not the end of the world clitus. It's all in how fought, I've been a Marg fan for years and years. I've seen him high as the clouds and low as the dirt, but he always fought his ass off and never gave up. I respect him for going out on his shield in the Mosley fight. He said it best himself "Yo me muero en la raya." (I will die on the line), that my friend is what you call heart. Regardless of which of these two great warriors loses their is the chance that neither will lose in the eyes of the fans. If Pac goes down fighting against a man who is much bigger, I will still respect him. If Tony were to leave it all in the ring, but lose to the current best fighter in the world I would understand.
Pacquiao is also a suspect cheater. What kind of none cheater refuses any kind of test? He did.
And for "boxing is dead" cries HOW DARE YOU say people only want to see Pacquiao and "a few other select fighters" fight? That is utter Bull_****. True boxing fans love many more fighters other than just Manny.
And wtf is up with the logic "loss = crap and no longer worth seeing"???? Unless he is killed in the ring, Manny will be back even if he loses. He has lost before, it's not like he is unbeatable.
As much as I dislike Cheato I hope he beats Pac very bad. This weight crap needs to stop and a Manny beating will do just that.
Not to mention Pac is the one that gave the cheater a chance so I hope the cheater capitalizes on Pacs name.

I dont think Pacquaio will lose but if he did boxing would not be dead. I could careless about the casual fans who know nothing about boxing but saw Pac's last 4 fights and think they know the sport. We would still have

-Sergio
-Saul Alvarez
-Berto
-Timothy Bradley
-Rigondeaux
-Gamboa
and plenty more...
This tread is stupid, actually when Manny's gone, boxing will do better!!Pfp won't hold so much weight & people will start to remember that titles do mean more than pfp!!& all the other elite fighters won't be trying to fight the cashcow who only fights in-house fighters!!I hope him & Floyd hurry up & disapear!!
if he loses the fight then the catch weight idea back fired on him or he's finaly faced someone who came in hydrated or someone who had the balls to punch back.but like roger said maybe they're not gonna let him put on much weight on maybe they agreed to a special deal behind the scenes.margarito would agree to anything because he shouldnt of even be in the ring after what he has done.for such a big payday he would agree to almost anything just think about it the 5 or 6 million hes gonna get can set up him and his wife for life.
