Even people with Parkinsons need to laugh at themselves

The problem with your statement is that you're equating a dehabilitating disease with race. Maybe people with AIDS, cancer, or multiple sclerosis should make fun of themselves as well according to your logic. Am I right? You don't slowly die b/c your black or indian. Like Margarito and Rios, most on NSB aren't equipped to understand the situation.

It's like when comedians like Chris Rock make fun of blacks or Russell Peters with Indians etc.. It's light hearted but brings more attention to the issues at hand. Laughing at them is a lot different with laughing with them. In the expense of an "opponent" mocking their rival is hardly a joke. It is an insult due to ignorance and insensitivity.

Wow, just wow. First of all Marg and Rios were making fun of Roach not roach making fun of himself. IF Roach was making jokes about himself and they joined in MAYBE that would be ok. When Michael Richards did it no one thought it was funny. They may even be a thread about it here on BS. South Park did an episode about it, but hopefully people got the deeper meaning about that episode. ****ing hahaha, I've got Parkinsons and am going to lead a **** life I've got low blood pressure, non stop muscle tremors. have trouble staying awake at times, have grown a speech impediment of some sort, have memory loss and wait for the best of it, I am impotent and have bladder problems !, who would've guessed, this is ****ing HILARIOUS !. I know what you mean, some people just have to laugh at their own life debilitating problems.
