I think if Margarito can handle Pacquiao's punches on the first half of the fight I think he has a shot at accumulating good uppercuts later on the fight. I see Pacquiao beating Margarito to the punch on the early rounds while margarito only lands to the body as he pressures pacquiao to the ropes. People say he's going to follow Pacquiao but if you know boxing and have seen Margarito fight, he's really good at cutting the ring I don't see him mindlessly following Pacquiao. That's what he did and we actually saw a very good fight. Again the fight is tough and it all depends if Margarito can take on Pacquiao's power. I guess his jaw handle the power but not the skin.And like all other fighters he's got a complain......"Mucho RAPIDO".....

The problem with that is Pac is 5" shorter and he need to get a lot lower for his aim and doing that his face will be peppered by Pacquiao before he can even release a single punch. You're on point my dude. I see this happening a lot and manny shooting with a straight left.

That strategy is perfect for a taller fighter to get clocked with the uppercut hook counter. IMO, this is the combo that wins it for Manny. Marg will be coming forward, and not use his height. He will follow Manny around the ring, throw looping shots, Manny will counter all night. Might be hard to knock Marg out, but i see this combo kilin' it. Money Manny doesn't like body punches, he has a weird reaction to them I have noticed. So if Margarito goes to the body a lot, I think he'll get Manny off his comfort level. But that will force Manny in to fighting more and that means Margarito will have to take some punishment in order to go to the body. If it works, that means in the late rounds Pacquiao will be immobile and will have to slug it out with a slugger. It will be interesting. But in the other hand, if Manny decides to fight like he fought against DLH which was easy because DLH had nothing, but a weightdrained DLH is a normal Margarito LOL. That's what I think too.or it's a ruse so that Team Pac will be weary of that body shot.I agree Margarito have to use that long reach advantage and punch away to collect points.As I don't think he has the power to TKO Pac. I think a bigger factor in favor of Marg than the body work that will obviously be his game plan will be his uppercuts. Watching Pac vs Clottey, he was hit with quite a few uppercuts and that's Marg's best punch by far. I think Pac will try and pot shot him and try and land some big shots when he is moving AWAY from Marg. Sort of like a stop and pop type technique if you will. marg should really use his reach and height to his advantage. he needs to jab alot and throw the straight right hand. he should only go to the body when pac is on the ropes. and also he should be prepared to throw the left hook or left uppercut when pac jumps in to catch pac when he ducks under and moves to marg's left to turn marg. if marg fights tall, pac's right hook won't be able to counter his left hook/uppercut.QUOTE] That I agree totally.
