Floyd Mayweather Jr
Sugar Shane Mosley. Coming off an IMPRESSIVE, knockout win against Antonio Margarito. What happened? Floyd outclassed him. Completely shutting down Mosleys offense. Mosley against M...argarito, impressive. Mayweather Vs Mosley. Mosleys performance = disappointing. Don't give me that old bull****...
Juan Manuel Marquez. Coming off a fight of the year against Juan Diaz and who also gave Pacquiao the hardest fights of his life. Pacquiao struggles twice against Marquez and Floyd makes it look easy.Worst fight of Marquez career!
Ricky Hatton. Jose Luis Castillo who gave Floyd trouble in their first fight, Hatton beats him and beats a hard fighter in Juan Urango. Impressive WINS. Floyd fights Hatton and beats him. Outclasses him and knocks him out. Gives Hatton his first loss of his career.
Oscar De La Hoya. Coming off an impressive KO win against Ricardo Mayorga. Beats him real bad. Oscar De La Hoya Vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. Floyd is a defensive master against De La Hoya and comes away with the victory.
Last one. Carlos Baldomir. Coming off an impressive win against Arturo Gatti. TKO win against the blood and guts warriror. Baldomir fights Floyd, what happens? Baldomir does horrible and Floyd outclasses him even though...even though... Baldomir comes in the fight as a MW.
Manny Pacquiao
Miguel Cotto. Clottey Vs Cotto. Cotto arguably lost this fight. Was it an impressive win? No, it was not. Miguel Cotto Vs Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao batters Cotto for 11 rounds
Joshua Clottey.
Clottey Vs Cotto. Clottey could have arguably won this fight. Was it an impressive arguable win in Joshua's favor? No it was not. Pacquiao Vs Clottey. Clottey covers up for 12 rounds and throws not too many punches. Pacquiao UD.
Oscar De La Hoya
Prior to fighting Manny Pacquiao. He fought Steve Forbes. Steve Forbes give De La Hoya a hard time and breaks some part of his face, forgot which. Was it an impressive win? No. Manny Pacquiao Vs Oscar De La Hoya. Pacquiao stops De La Hoya in 8.
Ricky Hatton
Prior to fighting Paulie, he nearly gets knocked out by Juan Lazcanzo. Fights Paulie who isn't even an impressive fighter as it is, easily a C class fighter and wins. Hatton Vs Pacquiao. Pacquiao wins in 2.
David Diaz
Possibly the worst lightweight champion ever. Prior to fight Pacquiao, he fights Montano (don't know who the hell is) and wins.
Thread starter is clearly biased in Floyds favour, Im not saying Pacs wins were good either but dont make Floyd out to be a saint. You stans are laughable. Floyds my fav fighter but dont make out hes dominating top class fighters in their primes. I do think his last five fights have been against better op than Pacs but they still were not great. Both need to step up the comp, hard to do when they are the best around and wont get it on (no homo).
Its easy to compare them when you do what the thread starter did. You bigged up Floyds wins more than needed, and down graded Pacs wins more than you should have done.
It works both ways you look at it. For example I could say:
Option 1 for the Stans
Shane Mosley was the no1 WW in the world, coming off a HUGE KO win over the much fear Antonio Margo. Lightning quick and strong as an ox, many people said Floyd was scared to get in the ring with him. Comes into the ring a JMW.
or... option 2 for the haters:
Shane was a 38 year old grandad who hadn't fought in almost a year and a half and when he did he beat a limited punching bag in Antonio Margo, Shane was never that good anyway and Floyd paid him to lose.
See what I did there? Its all too easy.
I AM the ultimate Floyd fan, I tell iishh how it is and not how I want it to be just because I like Floyd.
Boxing Truth FTW!!!
Great Post my ninja!
I didn't even bother reading your sissy ass post, son.
I read the first line and then quit. Too boring.
So you have nothing decent to reply to my post? Then FO I dont care for your opinion. I bet if my post was titled about Kats you would of read the whole thing like a bible... your a Kat Stan, not a Boxing fan... Tool :crucified
Failed! To the TS, you only highlighted how Floyd avoided the last 5 opponents he should fought! Younger prime Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Clottey.
Man I've got these STANS running scared, no Flomos or Pactards will comment after mine!! REAL BOXING fans know the deal... they know wassup... :boxing:

you are a sad, angry man with bad taste in boxers.
He's not a man. He's a kid who hasn't even reached puberty. He's probably so high on that A-side meth which explains where that rage is coming from.
it's all relative.
Mosley: 38 years old and hadn't fought in 16 months.
Jmm: 35 years old. A lightweight fighting at a welter catchweight(144). Floyd comes in 2 lbs over and has to pay off juan.
Hatton: Second fight at welter. Barely beat collazo in his first attempt, then went back to 140.
Odh: 34 years old. Had 1 fight in 3 years before losing a sd to floyd
baldomir: 35 years old. Worst fight in the history of ppv. Floyd runs the second half of the fight and the crowd boo's fevorishly.
true story^^^^^^
Wow just WOW! Looks like some Flomos evolved to a Revisionist historian. What a group: Ped experts, doctors, "Insiders", Clairvouyants, anger-management dropouts, boxing experts, and now revisionist historian.
hatton never looked good fighting at any weight. saying otherwise means not folllowing hatton's career. 140 or 147, it would have been the same thing. ppl overhype that ****. btw, when was the last time miguel cotto looked good fighting at 145??? lol...get my drift??
as a poster said, its all relative. its easy to hype up or discredit one's win cause information is available to us. these guys are put under a microscope, making it easy for us to bitch about something
lets do pacquiao:
cotto- easily the #1/2 welterweight when pacquiao fought him
clottey- never lost a fight decisively
de la hoya- manny climbed 2 weight classes to beat his tranny cherry picking ass, was only ko'd by bhop
hatton- lineal champion, beating him put him in the history books as the only fighter to win 4 lineal titles in 4 divisions
diaz- only had 1 loss, beat judah twice, first fight at 135 and he beat the crap out of him
its easy to twist facts to work on your favor. but it is universally accepted by normal people who doesn't have floyd's dick in their mouth that pacquiao>>>>>floyd

this man speaks the truth.
when comparing two fighters, you can't praise one's competition and completely discredit the other. that's the point im trying to make
and hatton never looked good fighting at 147.

problem is u can do the exact same thing to every pac fight on this list. the competition on the list is just about even the only difference is pac looks more amazing for doing it because he's perceived as being a smaller guy. that and the fact that he captured a few titles along the way. i mean seriously.
shane mosely > joshua clottey no matter what u idiots believe.
cotto > JMM that pretty easy
hatton that floyd fought is the exact same hatton that manny fought, **** the 140/147 lb bull****...that just dumb imo, did nothing at all to change the outcome of the fight.
dlh that floyd fought > the dlh that manny fought, easily.
and finally baldomir easily equal to diaz.
now explain to me how the level of comp is that much different??? its about the same. the fighters are just judged differently.
