I just can't see Pac losing to Marg. Marg is too wide with his punches, too sloppy and his defense is too ****ty to keep up with someone like Pacquiao.
we'll see on 13th
i agree with the final paragraph. You beat pacquiao by standing your ground, keeping your cool, making it a "boring" fight. If you try to rumble with pacquiao, good night.------ :) -----------

some of you $hiit birds are so full of crap atleast watch dwyer videos before you make a commet and get your facts straight. unlike many of you dummies dwyer bets real money and not the bull$hiit points on here that many of you cry over.
you got it man most of these guys in here have no clue what dwyer is all about
Pacquiao doesn't know how to fight while backing up? I heard that a long time ago and thought the matter had been settled.
I thought he knocked Morales down while his back was to the ropes... Didn't he?
Maybe I ought to watch this video again and go to the 1 minute and 44 sec mark.

And, taking Mr. Dwyer's suggestion I should watch the referenced Hatton fight again.

And be reminded that the only time Hatton hit Pacquiao was with punches that were pretty close to illegal only in the 40th second of the fight when they clinched. The rest of the time his walk down earned him a reward he didn't want.
I can't understand, much as I try, how that fight can be raised up by Mr Dwyer as an exemplar of success for a "walk down" against Pacquiao.
Remembering Juan Manuel Marquez and how much success he found when he allowed Pacquiao to initiate much of the exchanges, and trusted on his counter punching abilities, one is reminded as well that in the second fight, Marquez was KD'd when he opted to go in.

Oscar, enjoying a size and height advantage, thought he could have pushed Pacquiao to the ropes too where he can unleash bomsb. But this clip from HBO's reminds us that such a thought is easier articulated by the mouth than the entire body.
I took a look at the HBO highlights clip and paid attention to the 15 to 40 second mark.

I don't know that Pacquiao can be "walked down" and
"does not know how to fight backing up". I can only recall that the times he was backed up, he found opportunities to turn things around.
If Margarito succeeds, then it seems to me that he'll be the first. If memory serves, Morales won the first fight, not by walking Pacquiao down but by standing his ground when Pacquiao came in and traded punches with the Filipino. I also recall that Morales' win was by SD.

I submit that Margarito is the biggest and tallest that Pacquiao ever fought. Perhaps that can help him walk down Pacquiao. But shall Pacquiao be in the same real estate when Margarito gets to where Pacquiao had been?
I dunno.
I like Dwyer. He sounds too much like a robot but I sometimes agree with his predictions. He makes some good points here but as he's describing Manny's urban myths, he creates one of his own as well. Margarito's wraps weren't illegal, it was the stuff he put INTO the wraps (the knuckle pad) that was illegal. There's a difference. Margarito's mental abilities before the Mosley fight also make me believe that he'd been bricking his knuckle pads for a long while. Just ask this question, "If he knew there wasn't anything illegal, why was he so catatonic looking going into his fight with Shane Mosley?"
Dwyer's using the Hatton fight as a reference is wrong. First off, that was the beginning of the fight. Everyone here knows that Margarito is a very slow starter who begins heating up in the middle of the fight. While Manny's back did touch the ropes numerous times during his fight with Hatton, keep in mind that this was Manny's/Roach's gameplan all along. The plan was to clock Ricky while he was bum rushing in.
In comparison, watch Manny's fight with the much taller Oscar. If Manny/Roach are going to have a plan, it's going to be like the zombie Oscar fight. Manny's going to be popping off combos and then spinning Margarito like a ballerina and then popping off another combination. This may be their strategy.
I'd also use the Pacquiao/Marquez fights also as references because both show that Manny does not do well against guys who fight back at the same time he throws punches. Not counterpunching, mind you, but just wildly swinging as Marquez did a couple of times in both fights.
I believe Margarito is going to have a hell of a time with Pac because of one thing: footwork. In comparison between Manny and Cotto, Manny's footwork is much better. Margarito will have to chase Manny all over the ring while getting hit all over. It will be like chasing a rabbit while the rabbit is biting you.
Another point is that Manny's conditioning is much better than Cotto's. Manny never tires the entire fight while Cotto always begins waning around the 7th or 8th round.
 The thought of that literally happening made me laugh out loud and it's midnight over here.
BTW, where is the guy in your avi from? Movie? Series?
Dwyer overestimating Margarito or he sees something we don't.
Either way, he obviously doesn't come on NSB often or he'd hear from both Pactards and Flomos alike that Margarito is gonna lay down like a cheap hooker for Pacquiao.
I enjoy listening to Dwyer. I definitely don't always agree with him though & I definitely don't agree with him picking Margarito. Pac winning this fight is a VERY easy prediction. It's really a can't miss prediction. For a guy like Dwyer that comes across as a logical guy, I don't see any logic in this pick
Dwyer is right, the Pacquiao-Hatton fight was a lot closer than people think. That's why there was so much demand for a rematch. If it wasn't for the fluke knockout in the second round, and the two knockdowns in the first, and the other 64 power shots Pacquiao landed, it was an even fight. Take away those 67 power connects and the fight could have gone either way.
Yes, even indeed.

This dude also picked Cotto and DLH to beat Pac.. And we already know Pac doesnt fight well going backwards thats why Pac fights in and out, side to side...
Full of **** as usual. He picked Pac to KO Cotto. In fact if you frequent his page you would know he thinks Cotto is overrated. He picked against Cotto in the Margarito and Foreman fights aswell if i'm not mistaken. Can't recall the Clottey vs Cotto analysis, though it wouldn't surprise if he picked Clottey.
he also picked marques to win last night and we all know how that went...
He said to straddle it with a juanma KO. It turned out to be a good strategy. Dwyer's radar has been off lately. He makes a god point though....the only problem will be getting Pac to back up.
If you watch ep 3 of 24/7 getting Pac to back up is essentially Garcia's strategy.
If Margo can get Pac fighting off the back foot he should win. It's a big "IF" though.
