Gamboa vs John in Dec or Jan?

John has a fight December 4th, so after that fight, it will probably be another year before he actually steps into the ring. Juanma and Gamboa should just forget John and fight eachother. A fight with Chris John will take forever to materialize because he will just cause delay after delay from injuries. And personally, I think both fighters would smoke John anyways.

AS OF SEPT 14TH, Newly unified featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gmaboa has been informed by the WBA that he has 120 days to face his mandatory challenger and fellow titlist Chris John means they have two months to fight? You're late homie. John, instead of fighting the best as he should, asked the WBA a special request to defend against another bum in december instead of Gamboa. They offered the WBA a lot of money and the WBA accepted his request. He will have to fight Gamboa right after that tho, or he will lose his belt.

John already has a fight scheduled in his home country in December. Surely the WBA will allow an extention even though John should be fighting Gamboa instead of this bum with only one KO. Lol.

gamboa has more raw talent but john has a polished sheen to his game. i expect john to win and im a big of gamboa.

John will get the better of Gamboa, Gamboa doesn't have the skills for john and when gamboa doesn't hurt the opponent he gets frustrated...........:boxing: Therefore Im sure this fight wont happen!!!

Its probaly gonna be annouced soon after Juanma-Marquez. No way Gamboa will lose his belt, and hes got a date with Juan Manuel on June.
