Can somebody please explain to me why these guys have yet to fight for a third time? The first fight was a draw and Pacquiao won the second fight via split decision by one point, and a lot of people think he lost that fight. JMM has a syle that gives Pac problems, these guys need to handle their unfinished business and I don't care what weight the fight is at. It boggles my mind how Pacquiao can let JMM go to his home of the Phillipines to call him out with no response:no::no::no:
Ok then why no immediate rematch in 08, what's your excuse for that?
Oh there had been a hundred threads about this, why not do search?
If aside from larry, you just came from another planet, MP was about to fight Diaz because he could no longer fight at super featherweight. Then from out of the blue, JMM challenged Pac and the latter gave him that chance but JMM blew it by unconvincing fashion, even with Pacman fighting him pale and weight drained.
So there could not be an immediate rematch because Pac-Diaz was already contracted, and was only temporarily postponed, and Pacquiao was legally liable if he did not fight Diaz.
After this, there was the Pac-dela Hoya, Pac-Hatton, Pac-Cotto, etc...
So would you even compare, by any hint of intelligence and recollection, that these next mega-fights were less than Pac-JMM3? No, Pacquiao has moved on. But if JMM hadn`t fought Floyd, this trilogy could have happened.
Do you think MP had any regrets?
I think you missed a lot in your alien planet just like larry.
Answer the question...
The fight in 08 should have been the third fight.
The 2nd fight should have been done years ago.
Right or wrong?
You you not a hater at all.
Ok then why no immediate rematch in 08, what's your excuse for that?
Better yet why no immediate rematch after the first fight?
Oh, I guess that is Pac fault too.
You not unbiased at all.
I find it hilarious that you came to that conclusion after Top Rank went to GBP for a fight and it was JMM who out priced himself out which you agreed.
Yea you have no agenda here.

Bigger and better things like fighting Margarito:lol1: Yo boy wants no part of JMM PERIOD!

anyone thinking this fight will happen is delusional.
JMM cannot, will not, make Manny concede to a single demand. 50/50 is simply unrealistic considering Bob runs the negotiations.
Gloves - Cleto Reyes 8 oz
Ring - 18x18
Weight - it'll be 145lbs
Pacquiao enters the ring 2nd.
It'll be in Vegas, under NSAC testing rules.
Cut - 60/40 at absolute best (Manny 60). even a 70/30 cut would be more than JMM has ever made.
JMM has no chance. Everyone saw how he looked at 144lbs. and everyone saw how Manny looked at 145 vs. Cotto.
Come on now. this isn't 2004....JMM is simply out of his league at WW. Manny wins via TKO inside 5.
I think Floyd would make Pac look bad, and Cotto (as brave as he is) is a slow footed easy to hit fighter made to make Pac look good.
So do you think his team and promoter will ever allow that and give JMM a chance at 144? Nope, the last time JMM demanded 50-50 and the Pac team didn`t even flinch.
Pacman has moved on to bigger things, and JMM had moved on to smaller. Learn to live with it.
Floyd defeated your boy and Floyd is chicken scared of Pacman. That`s called facts of life.
Bigger and better things like fighting Margarito:lol1: Yo boy wants no part of JMM PERIOD!
Come on man, how do you know JMM can't be effective above 135lbs., because of his fight with Floyd? I think Floyd would make Pac look bad to!
Because, more of JMM legs at 135.
Yep- Pac wanted the rematch immediately.
And he beat him by at least 2 rounds on my scorecards in the second fight.
Marquez probably wants a catch-weight because he can't be effective above 135, and manny likes being above 145.
So it's just a lot of complications when manny could be doing bigger and better things, and do it comfortably instead of going down in weight when he's on such a roll.
We all know what happened to Roy Jones.
Come on man, how do you know JMM can't be effective above 135lbs., because of his fight with Floyd? I think Floyd would make Pac look bad to!
ok dave chapelle..lol
I was trying to find that video to post but couldn't find it.
Anyways, I understand if it was Arum who said and not believe the information. But, considering it was JMM own promoter who said it. Then what more is there to believe.
i agree 50/50 is crazy.....just exposing that hipocrite thunderwolf who's talking out of his ass
So what planet did you came from? Everyone here can recall that after the 1st failed negotiations of Pac-Floyd, JMM was offered a fight with Pac but was turned down because of JMM`s demand of 50-50 and OST in his trolling on GBP which was trolling on Floyd.
Or do you not know how to read, therefore had no knowledge of the past?
Fair enough, but I don't know if the above information is true. Here's a question, does this make Pacquiao a coward and a ducker for not coming to terms to make the fight like how some other fighters are labeled? Hmm.......
You don't know if the information is true? It is the promoter of JMM who talking.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer told Sports Illustrated that he was approached on Thursday by Top Rank for a trilogy bout between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. A shocking demand was made by Marquez. He requested a 50-50 split on the money with Pacquiao. For a guy chasing a Pacquiao trilogy since their 2008 rematch, Marquez found an amazing way to say "no thank you."
What more do you want? Two forms of ID, a family member also confirming the story? What exactly are you looking for?
Top Rank went TO GBP for a third fight with JMM after Floyd first negotiations fell apart. And, JMM asked for OST(which as the main thing that made Pac-Floyd fight fall apart mind you) and also ask for a 50/50 split.
And, somehow JMM is not to blame but Pac or Arum or anybody but JMM is to blame for this fight not happening?
OK....
Could the reason that the 3rd fight didn't happen is cuz JMM was asking for 50/50?
GBP used JMM, by pricing him out, to keep Manny in the Floyd negotiation table the first time around...
Point of the story, blame GBP why Pac vs JMM 3 hasn't happened.
the only way this fight will interest me, if somehow Manny can make 135 and fight JMM for his lineal belt at lightweight.
Anything above 135 is pointless, no money, no glory type of fight for Pac.
Pac shutting JMM up above 135 will do nothing for Pac, so why bother... everyone will hate anyways.
