Would Pac-Margarito fight be more legitimate if...

Margarito,neither Pacman owns a jr middleweight belt.The fact that their fighting for 1 will always be suspect,if Pacman wins it'll be called a new record,if Margarito wins,I believe he will continue to fight at 154,I hope he wins so this happens!!

Welterweight is 141-147 pounds. Junior middle is 148-154. 150 is inside the JM limit and therefore a belt is allowed to be on the line. The commision rules don't allow a welterweight belt to be won (or defended) at 150 lbs. Thanks. Just wanted to know if they could do it just for the hell of it. Rules are rules I suppose.
