Freddie Roach doesn't bullshit and when he says this has been the worst training camp with Manny I believe him. I believe it too. Manny and freddie even had a heated discussion in a room about the training schedule... overheard by the entire team in the wildcard gym.

Margarito looked ordinary against a journeyman last time out got dumptrucked out of the water by shane mosley and his punching power in the wins that got him here otherwise is in question tony's chin and heart are the only interesting aspects of this fight other than his obvious size and pressure if tony's career hasnt caught up to him and his night with shane was over before it started we'll be in for a fun and non-competative fight if tony is shot we're gonna see a warrior in dog shape getting slaughtered

Those 2 are in a different galaxy than Ricky but HBO does a great job of selling a supposed even fight. They even make me second guess myself sometimes haha

Margarito fans are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to boxing fans. Supporting a proven cheater shows your true colors. You can't say margarito and innocence in the same sentence with a straight face. There was a concrete reason, no pun intended, that his liscence wasn't reissued in Cali...fact. I don't feel sorry for margarito fans...they are just unintelligent and ignore black and white facts. i hope you've condemned pacquiao and roach for giving tony a chance then. they obviously believe in his redemption and pacquiao has said he deserves another chance. if the bottom of the barrel is good enough for paquiao, it's probably good enough for his fans too. :boxing:

This episode really tried to manipulate the viewer into thinking Margarito had a great chance to win. Of course the more people who believe that Margarito has a real live chance, the more PPV buys there will be. And HBO PPV takes 50% of the PPV money off the top. dam whos your profile pic

Man, I've bookmarked so many threads like this. On the night of Nov 13, right after Tony beats Manny into submission, I'm gonna bump every single one of em. LOL @ the signature. I hope everyone who's buying into the HBO/Top Rank propaganda puts some money down and evens the odds up a bit.

Simple: Change the channel. The only thing that matters is the fight night. First, people says pac doesn't give drama to the fight. Now that drama is given, people then say its all bs. I gues you can't please everyone.

All about Marketing, The really need to get people behind Margarito because they have a large Latino/Mexican community in boxing...So its a great strategy from a business point of view.
