If Haye really is retiring to be an actor and really wanted to fight the Klitschko's why would he tell them this. I dont get it. Klitschko's now have all the power at the bargaining table and Haye will be unknown to anyone in the U.S. unless he beats a Klitschko. So the Klitschko's should offer him 10% now. Let him retire, who cares, wow, he beat John Ruiz...yep, the boxing world will remember that fondly. Id offer him almost nothing now, let him retire and go be a boxer and constantly remind everyon how much of a coward he is. Not many people are going to be a big fan of Hayes with Wlad constantly reminding people how big of a coward he is.
Yep, good plan but I think they will stick with 50/50, that way that vagina can't say they offered him less money. Gaye will still duck and he will go into acting and people will continue to remind him of the ducking for a couple of decades afterwards..."so Mr. Haye, why didn't you ever face the Kltischkos like you said you would?" The Klitschkos will continue to dominate for the next 3-4 years, I think Vitaly has another 2 years left and Wlad 3 or 4. Once Wlad picks up all the belts, he will retire, it would be nice if he broke Louis' record of title defenses but I am not sure that he will though. If he does, Wlad enters into top 3 ATGs of all time automatically, he is currently around 7-8.

Well, I would not use the "I am not ready" excuse..... ever.
And at this stage of Povetkin's career, who will prepare him for Wlad ?
He will never be ready.
You mean "ready to win". But the phrase could just as well mean "ready to fight".
He should STFU, until he is ready to go.
Well we agree on that, anyway.
After that he could follow it up with remake of an inter-racial "Brokeback Mountain" with full gaye scenes. His co-star can be Povetkin, and instead of cowboys they can just play a pair of boxers.
Diva Gaye, I definetly see a future for you in Hollywood, please leave boxing, no one need to drag boxing down with more cowardliness and ducking
Honestly, I think David Haye would struggle with that role. I don't think he could play it.
He will take everything he can, for as long as he can, before taking such a MASSIVE risk..... just as you would ;)
No I would not, especially if I thought I had any chance of winning, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't. But if for some reason I did decide to do what you say, I would at least use the "not ready" excuse, as Povetkin and Adamek have done, instead of weaving a tissue of lies and cynically getting the press to back me up and to deceive the boxing public. Povetkin and Adamek at least have some integrity, and some respect for their sport. Haye has none.
Haye if you are talking retirement you might deserve to be beaten if not by audley, definately Vitali and Wlad.
In fact if you are talking about retiring maybe it is better that Audley beats you. Dont take nothing for granted.
Wladimir might say 50-50 but I highly doubt he just pulled his pants down for Haye and let it rock that way, they both have their faults it's not all just 1 way..
Haye admitted he was offered a straight 50/50 with no rematch clauses. He claimed he turned it down, not because of the share of the pie he was offered, but because he didn't like the size of the pie. Specifically, he claimed that the Klitschkos could have got a better German TV deal than the one they are locked into, and that he is not willing to accept 50% of that deal: that they have to either ditch their contract with RTL if they want to fight him, or offer him well over 50%. Which is ridiculous. What TV contract the Klitschkos have negotiated is none of Haye's business.
He's been saying, "I'm going to beat (insert name of bum) then fight either Klitshcko" forever now. He will never actually do it. He will probably fight Harrison then retire.
Nah, there are still lucrative easy fights out there for him. It'll be Holyfield then possibly Dimitrenko.

If Haye's planning on going to Hollywood then it seriously raises the question of whether he even intends to fight a Klitschko, ever.
Think about it. Hollywood's built on illusion and image, and if he gets an embarrassing and prolonged beat down from Wlad that the whole world sees, then what sort of roles can he expect to get? On the other hand, if he avoids a Klit (without ever making it clear that he's doing so), maintains his winning streak, and finishes on a high (a KO of Dimitrenko, or some other hard-ass looking "Russian" guy) then it makes his future acting prospects a hell of a lot more rosy. I honestly think that's what he's going to do, and I've been pretty on the ball regarding Haye's decisions in the last year.
Are you really unaware that Wlad offered him 50/50 with no rematch clauses and that he turned it down? And that the 50/50 offer is still open? The only thing he needs to press harder is his pen against the contract.
He did - he "offered" Wlad well under 50/50 (with Haye getting the lion's share of the purse), in response to being offered 50/50 by Wlad - which was such a ridiculous insult (not only to Wlad but also to all boxing fans) that I seriously don't understand why he still has any fans left.
I'm not unaware of that, I remember thoroughly about that but a statement saying "Wladimir offered 50-50" is as bland as saying "Pacquiao accepted Floyds testing demand", I hate to bring Mayweather and Pacquiao into this but I just want to make the point that there is ALWAYS much more under the surface and unreported than what it seems, Wladimir might say 50-50 but I highly doubt he just pulled his pants down for Haye and let it rock that way, they both have their faults it's not all just 1 way..
I actually remember a video of Haye revealing details of why their fight fell apart the first time and I remember thinking he had a point, I forget exactly what he said but I remember feeling like he has a good point. all in all I don't think Wladimir has been an innocent angel in all of this I just feel like Haye should press harder for the fight instead of playing the "no rush" role because Wladimir is opening his mouth, now would be the best time for Haye to come out publicly with a deal that he would like. I doubt either of these men fear each other but I just feel like Wladimir raised the bar and the time is over for the mental chess match, after Harrison Haye should press really hard for Wladimir
I can just see Haye in some lameass Transporter type movie, posing and acting all hard and shit with Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones, probably putting on some overdone Cockney accent (he's British dontcha know?) whilst wearing a truckload of falshy Armani gear and wowing all da laydees with his oiled up pecs, which he'll flash at every available opportunity. It's easier to imagine that than to see him in the ring in the opposite corner to a Klitschko.
“Me and Adam Booth, my trainer, have managed to dodge our way through this dirty business and past all the sharks and achieved our goals"
Well at least he admits it.
haye has been play-acting all the time....he's good at it.
he should face any of the klits and be done with it......
but he knows he doesn't stand a chance!!
He's been one of my favourite fighters for years, and I've completely lost respect for him.
After all the **** talking of the Klitschko brothers etc, then taking a fight with Audley Harrison and then planning to retire? :nonono:
