Tend to agree with this statement. Roy was vicious early in his career. The two guys i see giving him trouble at MW and SMW were actually in his era. Michael Nunn and Gerald McClellan.

I think you can call RJJ one of the greatest fighters who ever lived though.

James Toney didnt say RJJ was the best he fought. It was just physically great RJJ, and not a great tecnician. So cant call him the greatest really. But then again Ali was mainly physically great as well. But Ali was a better tecnician i would say and a better resume.

Its possible. We didnt get to see him tested enough in his prime to definitively say he was unbeatable, but based on his unique talents you cant say he wasnt unbeatable either.

Claude Abrams was a great writer. He did however fall into the same trap as many did when saying Tyson was the greatest heavyweight ever up untill he fought Douglas.
