Lmao this chick I'm talking to is real athletic and seems very open...I'm tryina take her outto watch the Ward fight next month...I wonder if its a good or bad idea?
Now that I think about it....don't do it, and let me explain why.
I am willing to bet each and everyone of you guys that have taken a girl to fight ended up paying for everything (tickets, parking, food, hotel etc) by yourselves without the female pitching in so much as a dime.
While that may be cool if it's a chick that you have been dealing with for a while, you really don't want to start off a first date like that.
Nothing good can ever come from that. Either see will expect you to keep trickin off on her, or she will look at you as a guy trying to use money as a way to get in good with her. You are basically setting yourself up for disaster.
I had some old school players kick some game to me and the rule they use to preach to me is that you never want to spend more than 40-50 bucks on a first date.
What I suggest is if you want to watch boxing on the first date, take her to a sports bar instead. You only end up paying a 5-10 dollar cover charge at most............and hell if your smooth enough, after a few drinks and some good conversation, you might end up smashing on the first date.
if i ever had an opportunity i would in a heartbeat.
This would be great because it would be much more different than your average date.
And just think, she will always remember you as that guy who took her to a boxing event, instead of the guy that went to a restraunt or a movie theatre. it's much more exciting and sexy.
girls like new experiences especially when it comes to dating.
not on a first date. unless she loves boxing. most women wouldnt be interested imo. id wait to be in the comfort zone and invite her to check it out and have dinner or whatever.
If not ..... whatever

I think it's a good idea, expecially if she WANTS to go, ask her first.
If they want excitment,He should take her to the marquez-katsidis fight.
That one too.ive never taken them on a first date though.hell no.
Hitting the bar up in the arena is also good during undercards.
Meh taking my girl out to see men who are essentially greater warriors than myself doesn't sound like a sensible thing to do.
There's also the chance that she gets completely bored whilst you're enthusiastic about the fight/ignoring her.
Essentially, I'd leave it till you get to know her.
back in my freshman year of psychology panda was dating girl in my class who modeled for numerous magazines, so kind of a real girly girl... and she brought up she just got into kickboxing when we met
panda was saying he'd been into boxing for years and would explain the technical aspects of boxing and she was on my lips the entire time...never actually watched a match with her but positively sure she would love it
you're slippin panda.
5 cotto fights.5 broads.0 disappointments.
It works when you have an electric crowd.take her out of the ordinary.i promise you itll work.

Dunno if an Andre Ward fight would be the best choice if you wanna impress her. I went to his last fight and found myself not completely interested in the action in the ring.
Depends on what type of girl you got, for example if she's loose, and you start of your relationship by taking her out to watch a match, get ready to be used.
If she isn't that type of girl and more of a relationship type, then sure.
