If you look, Povetkin was having problems getting started, but looked good once he got going. He goes to the body alot, and with alot of angles on his hooks, with many combinations. He has good speed on his legs(Slower than Haye, Faster than Ademek). And pretty good power in both hands.
At this stage, given Vitali's slowed down, I believe Povetkin can out work Vitali, or maybe a TKO late stoppage.
P.S. I am a Vitali fan, its just an observation. Also, take into account I think if this fight would happen it would happen in about a year; thats a year more for Vitali to slow down.

who is he fighting shaq?
Vitali has lost a good amount of power on his shots, he cannot shoot the right like he used to. I think that it has something to do with his back or knee, but if you look, you can see that he is only arm punching at this point.
I dont disagree that Wlad would destroy him. He is tailor made for Wlad, but I feel Vitali has slowed enough.
Vitali hasn't slowed down, which should be evident from his last fight. He through an unbelievable amount of punches even still against Brigss.
Also, Povetkin had a horrible first four rounds against that guy he just fought, so I don't see the logic that he'll beat someone who hasn't lost a round since he fought Lennox Lewis.
Povetkin went from being the most anticipated and exciting hw prospect to being the most protected and irrelevant contender. Povetkin hasn't lost a fight but he went from fighting good opponents to subpar ones. Basically he went backwards in his career for no good reason...
Three years ago I might have picked Povetkin to upset, or at least give Vitali a run for his $$ but now, he's regressed so much it would hard to justify picking him to win...
Lol, Povetkin had trouble at the start of the fight with Teke *****ng Oruh, I guy who had been inactive for 2 years and lost his last 2 fights. And you think he can beat Vitali? I don't think so, buddy.
