Looking back on this whole mess got me thinking.
Im convinced when Haye went to HW he had every intention of fighting the brothers. Then he changed his mind.
He signed to fight Wlad, the deal was done, and fight night was approaching. Then Haye pulls out with a mystery back injury. Then Setanta goes bust about 1 day later. It was highly publicised that Setanta was going under before it was announced. Haye wouldve known he wouldnt get paid for the fight. Haye's initial deal with Wald was apparently he got all the UK money, Wlad got everything else. He's not gonna fight Wlad for free. I can understand that. (the rest i cant understand though)
Wlad keeps the date and fights Chageuv, so Vitali and Haye enter talks. At a meeting the famous magazine cover of the decapitated head gets thrown on the table, and Vitali loses it. A reminder of the story below.

As far as we all know the fight is almost a done deal, then all of a sudden Haye decides to fight Valeuv instead (who he stated when he moved to HW he had no interest in). And has turned down deals to fight the klitschkos since then.
Did Haye **** himself when Vitali got hold of him and he realised he took the whole trash talking to far with the photo of Vitali's brothers ecapitated head?
Did he realise he bit of more than he could chew?
And also as an after-thought, as i was writing this i noticed that (i think) his initial deal with Wlad was for him to keep all the UK money and Wlad to get everything else. He still wants that (along with 50% of everywhere else not including Germany which would go to Wlad) and that is his current excuse for not fighting.
As far as I (and almost everyone else) is concerned the current 50-50 all the way deal is good for Haye, probably more than he deserves. But it was something that i think was agreed in the 1st negotiations with Wlad, is Haye justified in asking for that again? Could he, for example, keep 100% of the UK money (which would be a lot more than he wouldve got from Setanta) and let one of the Klitschko brothers keep 100% of everyting else instead?
Im more interested in peoples thoughts about whether Haye bricked it when Vitali grabbed him by the throat or not than the deal he wants to fight them now. I just added that in at the end as it only occured to me as I was writing it.
I think Haye just used their names to promote himself. He knows that if he'd just quietly moved up to heavyweight or called out Valuev and Ruiz instead he wouldn't have recieved half the publicity.
He used the Klitschkos' names as a platform to launch his heavyweight career, and now that he's a star in his own right and can make money without taking any risks he's trying to prolong the gravy train as long as possible.
Haye knows and always has known that his chances against the Klitschkos are slim.
do u think if setanta didnt go bust he wouldve pulled out of the fight anyway?
i supported his move to HW and wanted him to beat both the brothers and he's let me down with all his bull****ting. Im done with Haye, have been for a while. I hope he gets KTFO by Audley as punishment. He'd be a laughing stock even his own fans (whats left of them).

Haye realized that he can make millions without having to fight such a high risk fight from either of the K bros. High risk=high reward but a bad showing might not made him make the money he is doing right now with lesser fighters
I'm disappointed in Haye. I'll always be a fan of his in the ring but lately he's been acting like a complete tit and this joke fight with Fraudley is a prime example.

Vitali already had a go at Haye at the restaurant, if he was scared why would he say things to provoke Vitali to his face again?
Simply to make money off of Klit's name. He never really wanted to fight one of the k bros.
saying it, and then avoiding it, is.
Being mostly talk is something all cowards share.

Haye giving a phoney smile after being smacked by Vitali:
Vitali stealing Hayes stetson:
:lol1: After that love tap Haye says to Vitali's face that he wants to fight him and is going to Knock him out and also talks **** about Wlad, not something a scared man would do.
Yes, insightful. So logical and obvious.
In this Youtube video you can see that Vitali is pissed and really wants to smack him and Haye is putting brave face thru embarassement.
Since I can't post links due to my low post count, watch in Youtube video called "David Haye wants Vitali Klitschko in German TV".
Maybe Haye had no balls to begin with? Maybe he's just a businessman and not a fighter? I mean all this PR he created for himself has given him lots of easy money since the general public in Britain is willing to pay huge cash to see him dismantle unworthy challengers.
So maybe he never really wanted to take on the klits to begin with and only abused their names to promote himself? That would explain him making those terrible ducks that make him look awful for anyone else but the british tabloid readers.
Very possible, but i've been thinking about this all last night when i was at work (forgot my ipod, had to do something to pass the time)
I think he wouldve fought Wlad that 1st time if not for Setanta going bust. Its too much of a coincidence to me that he already planned on not fighting the Klitschkos and his tv station going bust at the same time. Its too convenient.
I think he realised after the Valeuv PPV made him millions that he could milk a good pension fund out of being a paper belt holder as an after thought.
Now he's ducking them, no question imo, but i think Vitali scared the **** out of him in that meeting and made him run.
oh yeah, forgot to say, when Wlad kept the date (which is understandable, he had a football stadium booked ffs as well as all the tv dates sorted out, not to mention he got a fight for the ring belt against chageuv instead) Haye asked for a few weeks "to let his back heal" (ie sort out another tv deal). imo he wanted that fight and wouldve got in the ring with Wlad at that time.
Im convinced if Setanta didnt go bust Haye wouldve been KTFO ages ago by Wlad. I think he bricked it when Vitali got a hold of him.
That deal he did with don king that tied him up for a few fights was a strange move.
