Becoz lil Ivan Calderon was boxing his ears off in sparring in prep for Mayweather
And when Hoya was sparring for pac he was getting beat up by lightweights and ortiz and edwin valero
Oscar was scared of Margarito, good thing the whole thing back fired on him, and the midget beat his ass.

i give plenty of credit to PAC for beating DLH
he moved up 2 weight classes to not only make DLH's cherrypicking backfire, but he also retired that primadonna
had DLH won, we would have seen DLH-Hatton and DLH-PBF 2 eventually
PAC did the boxing world a favor

I was gonna make my own post earlier, but I got too lazy because this topic has been to death. So I just picked the first one that made sense.
people were begging for margarito vs. oscar.
instead, oscar chose to fight a career featherweight and got his ass kicked.
for that, pacquiao deserves full credit.
only a handful of fighters have similar weigh-in weight and fight night weight.
it was oscar's choice to come in light. it was his decision that the fight be at 147.
training and preparation is part of the game. oscar underestimated pac, tried to come in light to make the fight less of a farce. he was supposed to take pac's head off. if the weight affected him (which i think has been exagerrated), then that's his own damn fault. it doesn't make manny's win less legit.
full credit to pac for beating the cherry picking tranny.
The only fighter I can think of was Tony Aayala. Other than that it rarely happens (fighters figthing close to their actually weight). Floyd kinda did it when he got to WW...but he was fighting against small WW's in Judah, Mitchell etc...so that really doesn't count.
Honestly I give Manny full credit for that win. It's not his fault DLH was a dumbass, eating kangaroo meat and trying to win cool points by coming in lighter than Manny.
Real talk, but I don't think any version of Oscar could beat Floyd or Manny....making this a moot point. Even a prime version of Oscar wasn't very cerebral and after Floyd adjusted.....it would have been a wrap for Oscar. Against Manny, Oscar has always struggled against southpaws and Manny would be the best he would have ever faced.
Mannys speed, power and angles would be too much for Oscar and the only thing a prime version of Oscar does against Pacquiao, is make it more competitive such as making it to the final bell and winning 4-5 outta 12 rounds at most.
He was used to the weight.
He came in at WW vs Marquez twice.

Floyd deserves credit cause Hoya must have came in close to 170 at fight night..
Hoya vs Pac came in at 147 at fight night + Oscar had not fought at 147 for like 8 or 9 years before the pac fight
/thread..
well, pacquiao never fought at 147 since..... never
All these Pactard homos. "I give Pac credit becuz he beat Oscar better than Floyd." Let's not even take into mind It was a WORSE Oscar that Manny beat better than. So if ur not gonna give Floyd credit, it's impossible for u to give Manny credit. And if u do give Manny credit, it's impossible for u not to give Floyd credit. But u Pactards always find a way

well than just think Ivan Calderon who was fighting at like 105 back then beat a guy that came in 170 :439:
.......such a "BIG" win

I give Pac credit cause he made Dela QUIT....I dont care what version he was fighting. he made him QUIT................
well, comparing how pac beat hoya and how floyd did , floyd actually did won by a hair!....lol
Puga, little guy, what's wrong with U??In an earlier tread,U claimed that Cotto owned Mosley, now here U are saying that Floyd beat Oscar by a hair!!Do U have wet dreams about Pacman??Seems anything involving him,U overhype, but anything not involving him U clearly show bias, why is that??
It was an older Oscar in both fights, but he had more to offer against Floyd!!Against Pacman,Oscar was 144 a month before the fight, clearly unhealthy!!I give both their credit Pacman for fighting Oscar because if Oscar was healthy or anywhere near his original fighting form,he beats Manny, but Manny bossed up on him so cold!!Floyd gets his credit because Oscar was 154 at the weight in & Floyd was 149 & Oscar had a little left(enough to keep the fight competitive)!!I give credit where it's due & here it is do,they weren't great wins for Floyd or Manny, but they're worthy of credit!!
