Which he tryed to prevent. William's team are the ones that did'nt want this fight. Williams is a Haymon fighter. Very plain very simple for you. Where do you get this idea that he tried to prevent it? He doesn't have to try to do anything, the fight just doesn't happen if he doesn't want it. You people act as if Williams is contracted solely to HBO. He's NOT.

... but only after HBO put a gun to their head and told them "this fight or bust" I doubt that. With the way things have been going, I wouldn't be surprised if the gun was on HBO's head.

... but only after HBO put a gun to their head and told them "this fight or bust" if anything it was haymon and williams who made that fight hard to negotiate. there's never been any problem with martinez as he wants that rematch very badly. in the end they have to settle with william's catchweight demand eventhough martinez doesn't really have any size advantage over him :lol1:

Man, he running boxing ain't he. I see why greg was riding his tip so much. In 2010, he really showed his face. From the berto/mosley fight to replacing it with floyd to the almost getting bika and green to fight an eliminator to join the super six. The dirrell and ward situation. He got arreola on hbo twice, berto get the best paydays for fighitng nobody. This dude is running boxing!!!
