You must be kidding me, Mosley basically trained for Berto and Mayweather with no rest. That **** would be ****ed up any fighter, I dont care who he is. Mosley was over trained, you can tell by his performance. If it was the Mosley that destroyed Margarito, no question about it, he would've finish Mayweather in round 2.
i'll say what i said in the other thread.
1. Shane is a pro with over 15 years experience and a very good trainer who i would "assume" knows when to hold fighters back. Additionally they were very wary of overtraining......they alluded to this in the 24/7 series. Shane mentioned he was in good shape and had not overtrained and that they had slowed training considerably leading into the fight.
2. How come Floyd is never overtrained?????? We know he trains harder than any fighter in the sport.....going by anecdotal evidence from sparring/trainig partners, and the **** that gets said on 24/7. He had a full training session the Thursday night before the fight on Saturday........
this is just sour grapes.....Shane got outboxed and outsmarted just like Floyd and his uncle said they would.

shane would of been more active if cotto or manny would of excepted his challenge but shane was too much of a threat at that point in time so it is what it is.margarito aint **** so i do believe the shane that beat margarito is the same shane that fought foloyd the only difference is floyd is 1 of the greatest fighters ever where as margarito has become 1 of the most overrated fighters ever,i also believe if you put margo and shane in the ring together again the result would be the same
This entire board was crying for Mayweather to fight Mosley after Mosley jumped in the ring and pulled a Kanye West. Then Mayweather agrees and the same people said he was full of it and were certain he would back out. There were threads asking why hasn't Mayweather signed and Mayweather's ducking Mosley. Then he signs and these same idiots start making excuses because they know Floyd's whooping that ass.
He does and the haters continue to hate.
That's NSB for ya..
Tell me this how can you be over trained though? when you over train yourself as compare to what you are used to. If Mosley trained for two fighters, is not being over trained. then i dont know what will. The fact is mayweather was training just for mosley, but mosley was training for berto then mayweather. Its not really genius to get this.
Im not saying he wasnt over trained.
Im saying that we dont know for sure whether he was over trained or not, it isnt a fact and you saying he was is just your opinion, none of us actually know for sure whether he over trained or not.
Just because Berto pulled out and then they fought four months later doesn't mean for sure that Shane felt over trained, we dnt know... only Shane really knows.
They making out that if he hadnt taken the Shane fight at that time, hes ducking Shane.
Sorry what? :lol1:
Of course its an opinion, of course being over trained it real but you thinking he was over trained is your opinion, some people might think differently because he could have had plenty of rest between those training camps... we dont know for a fact he was over trained, thats just your opinion of what could of happened.
Im not saying that there is no such thing as over training, I am saying that you saying he over trained is just your opinion and not a fact.

cmon now don larry *kisses finger* with all due respect. the people who said he never fight mosley, they not mean the over trained mosley, who basically trained for two fights. If that **** wont ****ed you up in fight night. then you dumb b1tch.
They making out that if he hadnt taken the Shane fight at that time, hes ducking Shane.
its not really a opinion bro, being over trained is real. and the fact is mosley was over trained. Training for one fight, is hard enough, can you imagine training for one more fight extra?
Sorry what? :lol1:

None of us know, only Shane knows.
I gave Calzaghe credit for those wins.
Not saying it was a prime Mosley.
I am saying, people who were saying he IS ducking Mosley in January and then that he had only accepted the fight cause he had too and hes gonna get his ass kicked shouldn't discredit it just because of the layoff, they knew completely about that when they were accusing him of ducking Shane.
Floyd tried to make the fight happen many times in his earlier career and Shane didn't want it for his reasons, whether it was bad timing or whatever, so Floyd fought him when the chance next suited him, which the perfect opportunity arrised in May.
Did you listen to what I said?
Right...
When Floyd came out of retirement to fight JMM, people were saying him doing this is him ducking Manny because he didn't take Manny straight away, when people said he might want to shake off ring rust, they said **** like "Floyd ia fit all year round, he wont have ring rust!", etc.
Now, when Shane had an even shorter layoff before fighting Floyd, people said he had too long a layoff, blah blah blah, despite the fact that they were saying he is ducking him at the time.
Do you get it? Its double standards, they say one thing when it suits them and another when it does too.
its not really a opinion bro, being over trained is real. and the fact is mosley was over trained. Training for one fight, is hard enough, can you imagine training for one more fight extra?
jesus christ..first "oh floyd will never fight mosley"..then he signs fights him and beats him badly...now ya'll b1tches come on here and discredit him..DAMN shut the fukk up and post about something else

yeah it wasnt mayweather's fault. It just that Mosley is desperate for a big payday. But it wont change the fact that he was over trained. And he's not the same Mosley who fought Margarito?.
We dont know if he felt over trained or not though, thats simply your opinion.
credit is given where its due, but we can agree that mosley is not the same mosley against Margarito right?
None of us know, only Shane knows.
Yea, he "manned up" when Shane was in his late 30s.
How ****ing courageous.
The same people giving stick to Calzaghe for fighting Bernard and Roy at their ages,
love to give props to Floyd for fighting Shane at that stage.
Quite odd.
"Roy and Bernard were old and past their primes"
"Mayweather beat and dominated Mosley!!!!"

Why are u coming at me like I'm a Floyd fan??I have rarely ever given Floyd any props for anything, but he did boss up on Mosley who was the welterweight kingpin!!Listen boy,I am not a Floyd fan,I think he is a cherrypicker, but so is Pacman & Margarito is a cheating bum,get over it!!:bottle::dunno::bottle:
How do you know it wasn't the same Mosley that fought Margarito?
That's impossible to tell because Margarito's style is nothing like Mayweather. Margarito's high output style is PERFECT for Mosley because Mosley is not only quicker than Margarito, but is a master at clinching. However you can't just clinch a guy like Mayweather at will and then unleash like he did on Tony.
Did you see Mosley's fight with Mayorga before the Margarito fight? Up until the KO Mosley looked like complete shit.
The domination of Marg by Mosley and Mosley domination by Mayweather was due to styles. Mosley's last lost before Mayweather came to Miguel Cotto. Now compare Cotto to the other guys Mosley has lost to and it doesn't take a genius to know Mosley hasn't been the same for awhile.
This board and almost the entire boxing community was feeding in wayyy to much to the win over Margarito. That was just a perfectly executed gameplan.
ofcourse its not the same mosley wt****. mosley didnt over trained himself before he fight margarito did he???
Floyd was when he came back to fight JMM, a longer layoff... yet some people on here were making out that he fought JMM to avoid fighting Manny straight away...
Floyd fought Manny?
When was this?
Sounds good, but u must realize no one thought that he'd man up,but Floyd did & beat the brakes of Mosley for 10 rounds,it is what it is!!
Yea, he "manned up" when Shane was in his late 30s.

I know you did at that time, I didn't direct it at you as much, I kinda meant some people in general.
