I like Andre Dirrell and I hope he recovers from injury. I also think what Abraham did was wrong but one punch does not cause brain damage. This isn't Rocky and Abraham is not Drago. If Dirrell has a serious brain injury it was more than likely something that came about over a prolonged period and no doubt the Abraham fight exasperated it but people are acting ridiculous over this incident. If the punch had landed when Dirrell was standing would there be such a public witch hunt? I think not. you are a dumbass:stupid:

One punch can cause brain damage...but the shot Dirrell took from Abraham appeared to land on the chin to me, not the side of the head.... I think Dirrell didn't see it coming and was caught clean which made him react the way he did...

They don't respect the risk that comes with boxing. Any one punch can kill you, risk is greater when you are unprepared and when you are dehydrated.

None of us know hes got brain damage, hes just said hes been feeling dizzy and that since the AA fight so went for a checkup and was told not to fight until it clears up... hes been for checks to see what it could be noone even knows yet, it could just be a random thing happening after the fight that had nothing to do with the fight, just a coincidence. I hope its nothing drastic and will heal up soon so he can get back in the ring again anyway.

I met this guy once who told me he had suffered brain damage when a cinder block fell 3 stories at a construction site and hit him in the head when he had his hard hat off. Max Baer killed Frankie Campbell, hit him so hard it ripped his brain from its spinal chord. One punch can deffinently mame/kill, doesn't even have to be from a awesome puncher, just gotta hit you the wrong way...Doesn't take anything to ruin a person, mortality sucks...And AA hits damn hard anyway... After watching that fight I lost all respect for AA, they should strip his license from him, hes a thug. And it's also been scientifically proven that everyones brain reacts diffrently to head trauma and scientests dont know why because even they admit that they know so little about the brain and its such a difficult organ to study.

Dirrell doesnt have the heart for boxing When you go 10 round with Arthur Abraham, whoop his azz almost the whole way and be the second one knock him down(Dirrell being the first), u can say that. Until then, you shouldn't be talking about him not having the heart for boxing.
