Yeah 90% did think the same, until they brought Oscar from 160ish to 146. **** it was over before oscar came out his dressing room. Thats like taking Klitchko from 200lbs making his fight pac at 147 for the heavy weight title. pac would win all day...
Plus Oscar was OLD!!!!!
He was old but few months back he beat the crap out of Floyd, broke his nose, his face was all swallen up.
So tell me which fighter Pac fought and beat you're willing to give credit Pac for?
The Morales trilogy was impressive but it was towards the tail end of his career. The first Barrera fight and the Marquez fights were very impressive.
Other than that, DLH was handicapped, Diaz was never anything special, Hatton was already mentally broken down by Floyd, Cotto has been damaged goods since Margarito and Clottey lol is all i have to say.
It may sound biased but really it isn't.
Pretty much 90% of boxing fans thought the same

he was the trainer of oscar even prior to that, are you implying that a trainers lesson is lost after each fight???? i have no idea that oscars that dumb.
They don't lose what has been taught but they do change things up with another trainer. However, Oscar was never a defensive wizard to begin with regardless of Mayweather sr. Not to mention that the weight-drainage reduces stamina and punch resistance. It didn't matter who was in Oscar's corner that night, he was handicapped.

Exactly great post
I kinda did too but then when I saw DLH at the weigh in lookin like a cancer patient, I put all my money on Pac.
..................................:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Nacho Beristain was Oscar's trainer.

In all fairness guys, a lot of experts and fans, including pac fans themselves thought that dela Hoya would beat Pac.

Cheato skill set if very limited; he's a punching bag and the type of fighter Pacquiao thrives on. Just because he has a size advantage doesn't mean he has any sort of skill advantage over Pacquiao. But just like any boxer out there, he has a punchers chance.
Pacquiao wins and I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to KO cheato whose granite chin has already been cracked.

Roger actually knows a lot about boxing and what he said was spot on..........if DLH was 10 years younger, lol.
Everyone thought the same thing and only Roach saw that DLH was done after the Steve Forbes fight.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Where was that great Floyd Sr. defense training when Pacquiao fought HOya?
Pacquiao landed 150% of his punches
Nacho Beristain was Oscar's trainer.
If you're such a genius, who's going to win, Pac or Margarito?

had he kept mayweather as his trainer he would not have overtrained and would have KO'd pac...

If he would have beaten De La Hoya at a healthy weight, it would have been extraordinary. The Oscar that fought Manny, just wasn't healthy, its was plain and simple for everyone to see. Even Cockroach admitted it, it turned out to be a handicapped match. IF you cant see that it because you have Pacquiao's nuts covering your eyes.

Pssss
Roger "Black Mamba" Mayweather is one of the best trainers today and there's no poster here that could sit in a table to discuss boxing with him.
I'm not a fan of his, but I know enough to respect what He has done in his Boxing carrier.
He knocked guys out when He was a boxer and I'm sure HE will knock out any one here talking boxing.
