I don't think so, Mayweather is highly resourceful and very good at recovering from a good punch. Mosley was always a strong finisher, but he was also very reckless.
Would Mosley have finished Mayweather in his prime........
I think so, Shane would of obliterated him in his prime the state he was in.
Poll to come
Mosley would not have thrown a jab to the body and then a straight right hand if this fight happened 6-7 years ago. Mosley might have stopped Mayweather if Brother Nazim was training him. Mosley of today is far more technical than a prime Mosley. So, the answer is no. In my opinion, a prime Mosley would have met a prime Mayweather. Shane declined fighting Floyd till he had to. He knew Mayweather was a struggle for him. Their fight this year proved that Mayweather would have dominated him 6-7 years ago also.
a prime Floyd would never let Mosley hit him flush like that he would probably go into the fight with a different strategy and lets not act like Floyd just stood there and did nothing after he got hit or Mosley just refused to throw a follow up a punch.
He was referring to a prime Shane not Floyd.
That said, you don't think Shane would have followed up on Floyd with combo's especially to the body after he stunned his @ss like a racoon spooked?
if he had so much problems why he rock floyd real bad?
shane was past prime...floyd wasnt....shane would hvae beat him in his prime
LOL.....seriously though stop trolling.
i don't think so, Shane is very very good, but Floyd just that little bit to good at throwing the pace off. To be honest the referee didnt help SSM as floyd was hanging on to Mosely for dear life, when he shouldve been made to break.
Floyd will get beat if he sticks around for another 2 years, i think he's starting to slow a bit now...though unfortunately i still have him beating pac if they ever get it on
Imagine a Lightweight Mosley v. Lightweight Floyd match.
DAAAAAAAAMN! that'd be insane.
Agreed it woulda been crazy. I would only favor Floyd a tiny bit, he was fast as **** but he wasnt that strong at 135 he didnt have the same combination of power and speed that he enjoyed at 130 and 140.
You Shane fans just can't let it go. Shane always struggled with people who could outbox him! No version of Shane beats Floyd.
if he had so much problems why he rock floyd real bad?
shane was past prime...floyd wasnt....shane would hvae beat him in his prime
No people act as though Mosley rocked Mayweather then was too tired to get the job. You can say that he would have been more competitive throughout the fight but age doesn't explain him failing to finish Mayweather off.
