"They say a full snake is a dead snake" - I had a friend who had a viper and one day he overfed the damn thing. It was so full, that 2 of the rats which were supposed to be food ended up killing the stuffed sleeping snake.
All the pictures coming out of the Pacquiao training camp shows his belly not as ripped as in the past, while pics of Margarito show a determined man possessed with showing how wrong people are.
Just an observation, but I smell upset, boys!

Heck, at this point, even Roach says so...

I dont think Pac really wanted this fight. Arum had it setup since then and he was just kinda forced into it. He needed an opponent. So now he cruising through camp
Roach does this every time Pac fights, when will you people learn?
Every time it's "Pac isn't training seriously, he's a long way off" blah, blah, blah..
Then comes the fight and Pac destroys everyone in front of him.
Same s.hit different day
Muscle can slow you down indeed, howeve muscle also gives strength, and with the technique, you create power.
Pac transfer power through his feet, calves, thighs, hips, strong core muscles to his arms. His neck is bigger now and he can take better punchers IMO.
With the right technique to punch, or skill, muscle is a very good thing. Hence why I feel the fast, accurate Pacquiao now is a very dangerous puncher.
Yes I see your point, with all the working out all boxers have muscle and need it not only for fighting, but for general ringship. I'm talking about the ripping look. Lazy looked like He could tare your head off, but looked weak against a guy that looked like a tennis player, Calzague. Roy Jones Jr looks like He can take you out with any blow, but looked weak against HOP.
IMO, the ripping body doesn't really tell you the story.
I think Manny will be in shape and that he'll win, but I'll say it again: He should retire after this fight. He has got too much **** on his hands and can't be as focused on boxing as he should be.
Pacquiao is only like 5'6" fighting at 152 and it's only been about two weeks into his training camp.
I don't expect him to look like a greek god.
Antonio Margarito is a fitness freak and he stays in fighting shape throughout the year, whether he has a fight lined up or not.
These photos aren't shocking.
Muscle does win a fight or is sign of KO power. The biggest KO artist in the sport didn't show much muscle. Power comes with transferring you weight from your back to snap on the opponents chin.
If it was about muscle, body builders would rule Boxing.
Actually, Pacquiao looks like He is growing to the welterweights.
Maybe after He picks up this paper title, He will go down and do what Mayweather didn't do. Clean the Welterweight division (hopefully without crying about a few lbs.)
That I will respect.
Pac just started running like 2 weeks ago, Margs has been training for at least a month or more already. Margs' last fight was at 154, he needed to lose a few pounds for this fight, Pac has to get into top form while being able to make 149 or 150. Pac will worry about losing the weight close to fight week as to not come in too light for the fight. Margs is the biggest guy that Pac has ever fought so they are trying bulk him up then trim him down slowly so that he still maintains a great deal of body mass come fight night.
Roach: "PACQUIAO HAS A LONG WAY TO GO."

Pacquiao better shape up or his fanboys will cry everywhere. Although, I'd like to see Pac win since he's the lesser of 2 evils, I hate to see redemption for a cheat like Margo.
I think your pictures were...deceptive. But yes, Margarito has to be hungry right now, this big of a fight for Margarito, in terms of his hunger, is a threat to any boxer, Pacquiao included, but that's why boxing is so entertaining. :boxing:
Pac did look a little softer when he fought Cotto compared to his other recent fights, since he had to cut barely any weight.
You saw how that effected Pac's performance. lmao
Get the fuck out of here.
Margo looks hungry? :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Same thing happened with Cotto. Miguel started his training camp early while Pac was chilling and Roach had to kick his ass to get him to focus. People were questioning Manny's focus and Cotto looked hungry, focused, and ferocious.
Same thing happened when pics of Clottey were released where he looked like a ninja turtle- his body looked like it was chiseled out of rock and people started thinking 'wait a minute, Josh might be too big, too strong for Pac, he's in incredible shape'.
Come fight night- Cotto was bombed out like Hiroshima and Clottey looked like a real turtle, hiding in his shell, refusing to come out.
Appearances may be deceiving, my friend.
