How can people say Margo is getting KTFO if Cotto went the full 12 rounds?

10-0 shutout is horrible?? You people amaze me. :dunce: You people? I watched the fight, he didn't look good against a very very bad boxer. Nothing to be amazed about there. Had he not won all 12 rounds he should have retired, but at the end of that fight he looked like a strong wind would knock him down and he had little to no power throughout.

Rab Cotto technically lasted long with Pac but lets not act like that fight shouldnt had been stopped a few rounds earlier.

Marg is TOO big and TOO tough. The over 9.5 rounds at +135 is practically a LOCK. Especially since Roach has been saying they are working on boxing in this fight. Because Cotto was in full retreat, once he came to the realization that he was a beaten man, he ran, and that is why it delayed the inevitable. Margarito is not a fighter that goes into full retreat when he's taking an asswhipping; he took a serious asswhipping against SSM an still kept coming forward. That is why he'll either KO'd or stopped in more or less in the same fashion that he did when he fought SSM.

Styles make fights. Cotto went 12 close rounds against Mosley. Margarito barely made out of the 8th and was stopped in the 9th and lost every single round. Cotto went 11 1/2 rounds with Pacquiao doesn't mean Margarito will do it too. And I agree Cotto ran for the most part, like literally ran away from Pacquiao. Not even boxing, or setting Pacquiao up for anything at all, he just straight up put his Nikes on and decided to run. But i'm not saying Pacquiao will by stoppage. Just saying Styles make fights and Margarito is not Cotto and Cotto is not Margarito.

Well....almost the full 12 rounds but he made it to the 12th round.... It's a borderline travesty they didn't stop that fight sooner. Cotto did absolutely nothing from rounds 7 on. Margarito in comparison to how Cotto fights doesn't ever evade or back up, which in this fight will be to his demise. Cotto lost because he got pressed by a faster hard hitting fighter with great footwork. I believe he'll beat Margarito because Margarito comes forward with no lateral movement and willingly gets hit to get off his own shots. Difference here though is Margarito will take a punch to give a punch, but he'll be getting hit with 3-4 shots before he can throw 1. I don't believe as big Marg is that he'll withstand that for 12 rounds, especially being he hasn't faced real competition going on close to 2 yrs and hasn't had a great performance in over 2 yrs (July 2008).

Marg blocks shots with his face more so than Cotto. Also Marg got TKO'd by old man Shane and didnt look so good in his last fight. Cotto was coming off 2 good tough wins.
