I'm up to round 11. This is just plain embarassing Alexander won. Typical American HBO baby hypejob. He's just taken a beating from round 5 onwards and now his corner are trying to get it stopped on the cut.
Khan, Bradley, Maidana by KO.
He was robbed and that is the reason Tim wants to fight him now. Before that fight he was avoiding him, fighting Abregu on WW while Devon was calling him out.
Corley was robbed against Maidana and that is the reason Khan wants to fight him now.
Suddenly the fights between the top 4 JWW aren't as atractive as they were
Nah, I don't think that is the worst one either.
Not for me anyways. Hell I think Alexander-Kotelnik is worse a decision than Froch-Dirrell IMO. That fight was just too ugly to score. A lot of rounds neither fighter did anything.
Yes. Froch - Dirrell was a hard fight to score. Nasty fight that should be forgotten IMO.
What's the worse? my mind has gone blank
Oh and TS i totally agree i was arguing like anything that Alexander was overhyped prior to the fight.. people were saying bradley was scared.. alexander was the man at 140 etc..
Alexander had beat an Old Witter who was injured and beaten by Bradley before hand and Kotelnik was robbed by Witter in England imo i was at the fight.
He also knocked out Urango but most people didn't see Urango was coming into that fight and also i had Alexander maybe 1 or 2 rounds up in that fight..
Hardly the world beater he was proclaimed to be.. other then those 2 he had Corley coming off 3 losses no one else.
Yes. I agree. Witter was old although still a good win for Alexander. He should have also moved to 147 years ago.
Also, even though the Urango fight ended in spectacular fashion, it was becoming very close. I can't remember the round of the KO (was it 7?) but if that was the case I think I had it a draw or maybe a point or so to Alexander. Urango was coming on very strong and winning rounds.
Alexander is a good fighter but Bradley has impressed me far more and continues to impress.
Bad decision yes, Robbery no.. Kotelnik wasnt active enough to call this fight a robbery, And Alexander shows he had Zero plan B, I actually was high on Alexander before this fight but the moment he face a defensive wizard he seem to ran out of ideals.
Kotelnik not active enough? He landed more punches!
What are you saying? You wanted him to miss more? That is EXACTLY what you are saying.
You wanted him to throw more shots and miss but then he'd take the rounds on being 'more active'.
You do realise that if one fighter (Kotelnik) is using the other fighter's head as a heavy bag (Alexander) they win the round, right?
The fix was in, It was 116-112 for the undercard fight aswell from all 3 judges, the don king fix was in. Same with Lederman he has a piece of Alexander and was screaming loud enough for the official judges to hear how to score it. Dude is a joke and this was a robbery. Note to european fighters, dont go to a fighters home town especially a dump like St Luis, suprising he didnt get shot unless he didnt go outside.
Only fight in Las Vegas if you from europe and fighting for a title and dont go to states where the commision's biggest draw is a Catfish/Watermelon eating contest and judges/commision could be bought off with some fishing rods/reels and some level 3 bullet proof vests and maybe a boat for the commisioner.
LMFAO. Totally agree about the fix as well. Very blatant.
This was one of the worst robberies ive ever witnessed live. Sad sad sad. And Kotelnik's been swept under the rug by King.
Agree 100%

I agree,it wasnt quite a robbery,just a bad decision

This year alone? Aydin-Jo Jo Dan and Shumenov-Campillo II are much worse.
All time? Forget about it. You have Whitaker-Ramirez and Chavez, Santa Cruz-Casamayor, Martinez-Cintron and many others that were worse.

Shumenov-Campillo II was worse, and everyone says that Dan-Aydin was an awful decision, though I haven't seen that one yet.

True. Not the worst robbery but a very bad decision. Did you think the Froch-Dirrell fight was worst? I think so
Nah, I don't think that is the worst one either.

I just thought the guy's score was funnier.... 112-110 in a 12 round contest with no knockdowns or point deductions....?
:lol1:
Right, I don't know how he got that scorecard. I assume he meant 115-113. Just didn't add it up right.
Lack of math skills, no doubt he must be a Floyd fan.
No it was not. Not even the work robbery this year.
But, yes it was a very bad decision. Terrible.

kotelnik won it 112-110. i gave two rounds to alexander because i felt sorry for him and because he was at home.
this is clearly one of the worst decision in the history of boxing. kotelnik is the real champion

The worst robbery since Dirrell - Froch!
Anyway looks like Alexander is getting stripped of the IBF
I thought Dirrell-Froch was a little easier to score because Dirrell won those rounds more clearly. Froch didn't land jack and he was made to look a fool.
The worst robbery since Dirrell - Froch!

No way. This was a far more controversial decision that Dirrell - Froch...
