I don't know how much PPV draw Cotto is though. I think he is a live gate draw, I think he brings in a lot of fans to the arena. But, as a PPV draw I just don't know? I mean just look at his PPV numbers against Shane. They were eh.... His one successful PPV besides Pac which did very good numbers(and without a 24/7) was against Margarito. I don't think that was no coincidence. IMO Margarito is/was just a big of a PPV draw as Cotto was. I think Cotto is more of a live gate draw than Marg but as a PPV draw I think both are damn near the same. The only difference for some reason HBO favored Cotto more. However, that was 2008 and I know a lot has change since then. Margarito has gone to the bottom since then. However, I am not sure if his controversy with the wraps would benefit or hurt the PPV. Time will tell. I am guessing 900k-mili buys. And, that would a great successful PPVs. I don't care how anybody tries to diminish that. If it reaches that number it was a big PPV. Oscar de La Hoya had his most successful PPVs with black fighters and Latinos who had animosity with him, but his numbers against blacks were greater. manny did 700K last time with a nobody, and only 1.25mil against Oscar THE PPV King and Cotto. Those two guys were actually draws, and Cotto was seen as a genuine threat to manny. No one likes marg, this isn't a 50/50 fight on paper like Firepower, and there's even boycotting going on. marg probably adds 100K. I don't know how much PPV draw Cotto is though. Margarito last PPV had poor sales in Mexico. I predict that this fight will sell less than Pacquiao vs Clottey both in tickets and PPV buys. I think it will have 30k in attendance.
