From Cotto to Clottey. November, December, January, February, March. 5 months for Pac to fight 2 guys Floyd refused to fight. Pac signed the Clottey fight less than 2 months after fighting Cotto and he began to negotiate with Mayweather camp with even less time than that. Floyd needs at least 3 months before even thinking about Boxing. The man is such a diva. He needs to stick to fighting women. First of all Floyd doesnt do busness with Top Rank so whats shocking about him not fighting Cotto, Clottey, or Margarito? I would've loved to see FLoyd fight Cotto and beat the **** out of him but he doesnt do business with Arum and that is so clear RAY CHARLES CAN SEE IT. But to say Pac fought clottey as tho that means something is pointless. Its easy to fight cotto and clottey back to back, those arent real threats. Cotto is damaged goods and clottey hasnt beat anyone worth mentioning, he fought a close fight with a damaged fighter. Floyd could fight cotto, clottey, margarito in one night...they SUCK!

Manny is the brand. he can fight just about anyone and we will watch. you really think a catch weight with Margo Cheato, with a belt on the line, means anything exzcept that Arum can make things like that magically happen for Manny? what happened to being the peoples champ, and fighting the fights the fans want to see. He had that chance and all we heard was excuses why he couldnt take a damn blood test. we already know mayweather is an ass, but now this guy has jsut as many demands. back to the point of Berto and Bradley, it would be a step in a more positive light of not fighting in house fighters and guys that have been beaten already. period. and we would still tune in. you can bet on that. in retrospect, i agree. as of late i kind of put his 130 days behind him and im looking at him as a full fledged welter who can also still challenge guys @ 140. i think coming up in weight is what made Manny a complete fighter. i think he's healthier and has better stamina, only adding to his already deadly offense. if he stayed between 130 and 140 i believe we would have seen more close wars and possibly seen him beat by now. it's amazing what he has done (i personally think the Cotto fight is what turned me around) but i still cannot get the fact out of my head that he hasn't fought anyone who has already been previously beaten or knocked out. not taking anything away from him but it's the truth. When he was at 130, I never thought that he could go to 140 and above. I never gave him a chance against Dela Hoya, Cotto, or Clottey. Hatton was the only guy I kinda gave him a chance to beat and I even had Hatton going in as a slight favor. It's all there to be seen what this man has achieved in his career, his legacy will be embedded in stone after Margarito is beaten in spectacular fashion. Manny has done it all, and I for one will applaud him after he beats Margarito. The mans legacy speaks for itself, and Margarito will be the icing on the cake. I never fought he'd go as far as he has done in his carrer, he's come along way, accomplished just about everything he can. I kinda disagree. Outside of the close fights with Marquez and his first fight with Morales we haven't even seen Pacquiao in the ring with a true elite fighter. For the most part his jump up in weight classes have been against average to below average in-house champions that were pretty much set up for him one way or the other. At this stage of his career you would have hoped to see him in with at least Bradley if not Berto. Or with Mosley back when Shane was still relevant. Imo Manny has had it pretty easy regarding moving up in weight classes. I don't think there's been a fighter that has moved up from lightweight in the past 20 years that has had it easier than Pacquiao.

As a matter of fact, he could retire after beating those 3 Mexicans HOF warriors (Barrera, Morales and JMM) and will be considered as ATG/Greatest fighter of ASIA. By the time he was at 130 nobody thought he can beat any fighter above 130 considering he started from 106. Beating Diaz at 135 would be icing on the cake but he went for more! Beating Hatton in his best weight amd made Oscar quit after moving up virtually 3 divisions above at the same time doing at the fashion much better than Mayweather wins to them. He could retire again after that without fighting Floyd and will be considered higher than him in ATG rankings. BUT HE DID NOT, he made Floyd doubt himselff, asked for he did not ask to his 40 opponents (OST), when Pac called his bluff he quickly went to vacation!
