AMIR KHAN’S BLOW TO MOTORWAY SERVICE STATION GAMERS
ABOVE: Boxing champion Amir Khan is double-hard 27th September 2010 By Daily Star Reporter
A GROUP of 20 lads were left stunned when Amir Khan broke the punch-ball strength machine record at a motorway services.
The boxing champ, 23, was not recognised by the men, who had managed to rack up a top score of 770.
But they got a shock when the “small bloke” broke the record with just one punch before entering his name on the scoreboard and walking out to rejoin the M1
Does anyone know how these machines work? Do they measure with a pressure sensor or the time it takes the bag to move from the starting position to the finishing position or both?
I always beat people on the arcade punching machines. I think it's so funny because they're twice my size and have to run up to it usually to get a good swing. I just stand and watch their faces after I beat they record and the games record at times.
i have a friend that got a 960 on one of those machines. i think highest score is 1000. but he is also like 6'6 280 muscle lmao. the highest ive done was 675 but it was a left hook not a bolo right which i should have tried
Ultimately all that matters is how hard you hit real people in a real fight.
Depends on your goal. Ive gotten ***** off of the punch ball machine at the club. Show you can get a higher score than everybody else and you could impress a drunken slut.
Khan must suck big time if he only scored 770.
really depends on the machine brand. I know some thats easy to get 900+ and some are just difficult to even get to 800+
Most of those things dont test the force behind the punch they test how fast your fist was moving at the time of impact. Unless there is some type of resistance behind the ball the reading is useless.

i heard its about were you hit the bag to get the high score. not about the power, but lol at khan walking in, getting the high score tapping his name in and exiting....stage left......
A world class boxer can hit harder than a group of normal people? :omfg:
But seriously, if Khan had a chin and didn't have to be so mobile, he'd probably have the ability to be a lot more imposing.
It's the speed... the speed.
And lmfao. If anyone does any driving in the UK, they will recognise those machines in service stations as always being absolutely surrounded by chavs throwing the most horrendous punches you have ever seen!
