In terms of having a great career and being one of the best ever and then going on a big losing streak. FLoyd is 33 and inactive ..... RJJ was 35 or so when he lost to tarver ....... floyd will get knocked out. and for all you nieve flomos back then ppl thought rjj was INVINCABLE......totally wasnt the case.
Floyd will get knocked out once he faces a young guy or a guy in his prime. look at his last 2 opponents 35 and 38....he hasnt fought anyone legitamate for a long time
Floyd can lose and he will lose soon enough IMO :headbang:
They do say, the first thing to go is your reflexes and the last thing to go is your punching power. The longer Floyd waits to fight Pac, the more it is to his detriment.
Repeating himself and stalking me that is not good at all for YOU
I'm driving you crazy admit it :biggthump
no work, no play, lol, nyahahahahahaha

same with pacquiao as soon as he faces a young, fresh prime fighter he will lose instead of cherypickign the washed up fighters morales, barrera, dlh, hatton, cotto, margarito the resume of the washed ups
Roy took risks and challenged himself or better yet dared himself to be greater.....by doing so he got caught and at the same time age was starting to kick in.....as we get older we lose certain things....Floyd on the other hand is NOT takin' risks or challenging himself.....so I dont think he'll turn out to be like Roy.....Roy Jones Jr. is one of the most loved and respected fighters of our era....not to mention P4P one of the best of his era as well as the fighter of the decade in the 90's......Floyd doesn't have that to fall back on....when or IF Floyd ever gets KTFO or loses a fight....not many ppl will be sad.....in fact, I bet ppl will party like its their birthday :lol1:
Roy>>>>>>>Floyd IMO :cool2:
???so roy didnt have skills??
Roy's one of my favourite boxer but he had supernatural athletic abilities and amazing reflexes and he dominated solely on natural ability and reflexes. He didn't have the skills has. Floyd's almost flawless, he does everything correct. Whereas Roy is mainly athletic ability.
Here is the problem with this statement:
He was P4P#3 because he beat up Margo..... but Margo had just been caught cheating then had to come out and fight. Not something that is easy to do. Now, if that is not enough, Floyd fans are now saying that Margo, being a cheat, was exposed and a farce. So much so that they are calling the Manny vs Margo (at an even more advantageous weight for Margo) fight a farce.
So imagine, being called #3 P4P because you beat someone who even Floyd fans called a farce.
Secondly, Mosley hadn't fought in almost 1.4 years when he faced Floyd. Even Floyd needed a tuneup fight when he came back from his previous vacation.
Thirdly, by the time Floyd fought Mosley, Mosley was turning 39 and had to endure 2 consecutive training camps.
When Mosley fought Floyd, objectively, he did not look like a #3 p4p fighter. He looked like someone who was at the end of his career.
Finally, in Jan 2009 he fought and became known as #3 for fighting Margo. Then even if you dismiss Margo as being a farce (you know who you are), Mosley needed to prove that he is #3 in May 2010. He didn't unfortunately.
All that being said, i bet you picked Mosley to win right? Just like every person on here who isnt a Mayweather fan. I don't get it, in December 2009 the boxing worlds common knowledge is Mayweather is afraid of Mosley and will get knocked out if they fight, in February when the fights signed, no one believes he will get in the ring with Shane, May 2nd 2010 everyone comes up with these similar excuses that wernt even there before the fight.
Now i know Mayweather gets no credit for any of his fights, i've come to accept that. But damn, Mosley i thought would be different, mainly because everyone said he was ducking Mosley and afraid of him and will loose, dude literally can't win.
as for Roy not having skills...BWAAAAAAHAHAHHAH!!
The reason Roy lost is because he challenged himself, even as his reflexes, skills, and power diminished naturally with age.
Tarver was a VERY dangerous and challenging opponent at that point in Roy's career. After a close majority decision...Roy had a rematch and unfortunately suffered a bruising punch that knocked him out.
Roy simply did not stop challenging himself...and suffered a loss to a very hungry and dangerous opponent...whom he gave a fight despite having to drop 50 lbs!
Floyd......well..he's got a certain "ducker/coward" title that follows him around for a reason.
Roy Jones got KO'd by Tarver when he dropped down from Heavyweight to light heavyweight. He burned a lot of muscle away which weakened him. Not to mention, what the hell is the article even pointing out? Eventually Floyd will get KO'd? R u 100% sure of that or just talkin shyt. Man u guys can't get Floyd out of ur minds... The more u hate him, the more u talk about him.
Fighting the Linear WW Champion, the P4P #3, Shane Mosley, is a legitamate fight, Period

he's a brutal KO loss waiting to happen
mosley has lost alot of power too....and he was still able to rock floyd .... just think he was 2 wheaties away from ending floyds career :headbang:
Assuming Floyd fights again, there's no way he would let that happen. If he is still fighting at 37/38, he will be fighting guys he can beat, not hungry young up and comers who could hurt him.
