I've just been perusing people's complaints here and in other sites. For the most part, the hype for this fight is pretty big and 24/7 hasn't even started yet. I think it will do huge business despite the cry baby 'boycott' brigade. It's just funny the reasoning (I use that word lightly) they use to justify their complaints.
1) "I won't support this fight, buying it is supporting a cheater and Pacquiao is fighting another catchweight championship fight. I am a REAL boxing fan. I will stream it"
Translation: I'm either broke or I never pay for PPVs.
How are you 'boycotting' the fight if you will be begging people for streams on fight night? That'd be the equivalent of Blacks in the '60s boycotting the public transportation system but hitching a ride on the outside of a bus to get to work. Never mind that catchweights are common place in boxing history and present (see Williams-Martinez II). If you want to direct your anger towards the proper place, write a letter to the Texas commission, the WBC, how is Margarito at fault for doing his job, fighting, when the two aforementioned sanctioning bodies gave him the green light? REAL boxing fans would support mega fights like this and help the revival of the sport in the mainstream. But the clowns complaining about the integrity of the fight and 'boycotting' it by watching illegal streams are not only hypocrites, they come off as complete idiots.
2) "Margarito is a cheater and doesn't deserve this fight"
Where were you when Shane Mosley got a career payday to fight Mayweather only months after he admitted on video he took PEDs in the past? Where were the boycotters then? Oh right, putting money into an admitted and proven cheater's pockets by ordering the fight... or probably streaming it haha.
3) "Manny wants to be the best but he doesn't want to fight anybody but washed up old names". (Direct Quote from a Floyd fan)
Pacquiao's last 5 opponents:
Joshua Clottey (32 years old)
Miguel Cotto (29 years old)
Ricky Hatton (30 years old)
Oscar De La Hoya (35 years old)
David Diaz (32 years old)
*Margarito is 32*
Average age of Opponents: 31.6 years old
Mayweather's last 5 opponents:
Shane Mosley (38 years old, inactive for almost a year and 1/2, looked HORRIBLE in his last fight against a reality TV fighter)
Juan Manuel Marquez (37 years old, blown up lightweight, Floyd came in overweight in a catchweight fight)
Ricky Hatton (29 years old)
Oscar De La Hoya (34 years old, fought only once in 3 years since being KO'ed by Hopkins)
Carlos Baldomir (35 years old)
Average Age of Opponents: 34.6 years old
So basically, with the exception of DLH none of Pacquiao's last 5-6 opponents have been 'washed up old names'. In Floyd's case, his last 5 have been old, washed up, blown up, inactive with the exception of the 140-lb champion Hatton (age-wise only). Not only that, Pacquiao is about to step into the ring with a guy who dwarfs him (5'11" to 5'6") after taking on much bigger, stronger fighters the past few years in their weight divisions and knocking their belts right off of them. Meanwhile Floyd is blowing up smaller fighters and taking on guys who are pushing 40.
You do the math :bottle:
its been a known for years here is an article from before the Cotto fight
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3041449
Cosign.
Cotto knew Shane was a juicehead, but still fought him mano a mano, no extra tests, no blood draining. Cotto is a Real Man™.
Cotto's win over roided, performance-enhanced Shane >>>>> Floyd's win over OST'd, blood-drained, inactive for over a year Shane.
The flomos already run out of good words to say in their coward hero. So the best thing they can do right is discrediting Pac achievements so their baby mama assaulter, carpark mastermind shooter will not be left behind in terms of legacy.
Ya bunch of dickheads , you think Arum will allow Margo to beat Pac , Pac is worth to much future money to him , Bob will not allow one of his own fighters to beat Pac you could bet your life on that , if you think Margo is a live chance just like Clottey was you are very gullible , boxing at this level is big big business and Arum will look after his cash cow .
Are u pathetic, how the hell Margo will give this fight. Bob Arum is not the only promoter in boxing, if ever he beats Pac lot's of promoter will come to him and give him the biggest payday of his life in his next fight.

But Floyd fans dont do Math??? They like to hit Meth instead!!!:lol1:
so this means boxing match can be fixed?? i think you are in a wrong sport....you are non sense a boxing fans because in your mind you have a doubt...:sombrero:
Anything can be fixed buddy , in this world and the kinda money involved here you better believe it , Margo is done and looked like crap last time he is nose diving down hill from the moment Mosley destroyed him , this is Margos biggest payday Im sure it would not have taken much from Bob to let Margo know who is his boss feeding him , you want the fight Margs well then this is how it is ,,,,,,, its not hard to invision , this and the Clottey fight are so open to fixing they should not have been allowed , Arums position is a serious conflict of interests , Foreman was too big says Team Pac but Margo and Clottey are not lol .

Honestly Mosley fvkked up....just like Margarito and I feel both should be forgiven and everyone should move on. If you feel different cool.....but what I don't like is the inconsistency from most posters on NSB.
If you feel the fight is a scam.....why bring it up all the time and why watch it via stream? To much half-stepping and fronting on NSB now n days.
Were's the hate for this fvckin cheating scumbag. He looks sketchy azz hell in that video but he still in all the flomos top 5:thinking:
The truth right here, anyone who disagrees is delusional.
look at the most biased delusional ***** , cockriding and choking on Dick bitf****ed's cock.
Jesus christ , r u his alt or vice versa , or r u in love with the margarito nuthugger.
When r u going to accept that margarito is a convicted cheater , and he doesnt deserve to be in the sport
The Ring magazine has even expressed many of these views. they pretty much stated Margarito was a cheater, maybe should be behind bars and that the fight didnt make a lot of sense. Now from a financial point of view you are correct. The fight will likely do well probably off of Margarito's zombie fans who could care less if he brought a Cinder block into the ring and the fact that Manny is a legitimate draw. You seem to want to pick a fight. I'm sure you will find several people to engage you but facts are the facts.
I'll probably buy this one only because I'm starving for some good boxing. That doesn't change the fact that Margarito is a cheating scumbag, and in no way deserves this type of payday.
Pac fans you dont have to go out of your way to defend this fight.
Its ok if Pac does something shady.
What the hell are you talking about? What did Pacquiao do that was 'shady' exactly?
You don't have to if you said that fine.
Well the penalty should fit the crime and people have got worse than Margarito got for loaded gloves so people ****ting on him is fair game, and loading gloves is like betting on baseball, PED is like PED in baseball.
Honestly man if you feel that way (about Margarito)....cool. I never had an issue with people voicing their opinions on things.
Real talk...I have never seen you do such things (constantly hating on another fighter) so my original reply was not in reference to you. How that applies to this situation is this.....if don't like Margarito and feel like bashing him....your right, Margarito deserves it.
At the same time I have witness these same guys go crazy at the thought of Floyd vs Margarito, Margarito vs Angulo, Margarito vs Cotto II and Margarito vs Martinez.....only to say Pacquiao vs Margarito is a sh1t fight.
I digress man....and I'll just leave this topic alone. Again, I don't think you fit this category, and while I'm not gonna name drop right now....it's obvious who these posters are.
Honestly, I did bring up the boycott and said it was b.s. I will find the post and quote it for proof. Maybe I am a hyprocite..who knows and who cares, but I try to keep it one hundred, unlike most posters.
I feel people fvkk up and we should move on, especially when you look at how corrupt boxing has and always will be. Now if I were one of the posters bashing Shane for PED use, Floyd for xylocaine....then defending Margarito and his hand wraps.....then you might have a point. With all of those guys my stance was been this: "Who gives a sh1t as long as I see a good fight from those guys."
You don't have to if you said that fine.

LMAO..147 and potentialy fighting Mayweather > 140-135 (AND not to mention he beat the best jww out there)
all day every day
I cant you believe you even typed that you non-boxing fan...go somewhere w/that crap...
smh...so just because u call a fight for what it is ur not a boxing fan??? u losers man...
get is straight. manny is not god! he does wrong. this fight is trash and when it does wind up being as one sided as pac's last fight, ppl are gonna all start looking for answers, answers ppl conveniently ignored to make themseves feel better about this fight.
not a floyd fan but this fight is ridiculous
ure comparing apples and oranges if u were dragracing would u rather ur opponent had modified his engine (PEDS-Mosley) or would slash ur tires just before the race began (cheating-Tony)
if manny wouldve cleaned out 135 and 140 then nobody would have any problems with whatever he's doing. panda's not saying he ducked anyone...in fact just because he would clean out those divisions he has claim to begin called the best
manny's not to blame though, he already said tony knew he was cheating

Mosley Mayweather didn't come about because Floyd's manager gave Team Pac a deadline that expired before Freddie Roach was due to appear in court.
I'm not happy with the fight because its coming off the back of May-Pac avoidance hype on Bob Arum's part.
I don't really like the fight either but I would watch most boxing, I will not buy the PPV but will go to someones house that did.

I agree 100%. Boxing fans SUPPORT big fights not support fighters who cherry pick and take vacations every other year......
