What was your first impression of Carl Froch?

this changed my opinion of him since I never got to see many of his fights. Like someone else said I admire his tenacity. Hes got some nice head movement with his offense at times which he should use more often. I couldn't believe this guy was undefeated. He's so awkward he looks untrained. I admire his tenacity though. The Taylor fight was great.

I thought it was Screech from,"Save By The Bell". http://slipandslide.blogsome.com/images/screech_i.jpg bwahahahaha! i didn't like froch at first, but i started to like him when i saw his old lady. seeing froch fights reminds me of his old lady and is enough to make my lil cock hard. and froch is actually a pretty good fighter. his movement sucks, but i love his offense and he has a great chin. he's underrated imo.

That he wasn't going to be effective at the elite level being as slow as he is and with his hands so low. Sure changed my opinion of him, from fringe contender to top 5 badass.

He was actually fun to watch cause his poor defense and punching power.

I think Froch is getting better and better. I thought we saw the best ever Froch in the Kessler fight and hopefully he is even better against AA.

Love the fencer comparison. Hilarious. First time I saw him fight was the Taylor fight to be honest. And I did not think that Taylor was SO far ahead on the cards. I thought Taylor came out fast and Froch was really rallying when the fight was stopped. Really didn't think it was the blowout that people thought it was. Froch was landing his jab all fight and was competitive throughout.

My first impression was that he was going to get KO'd soon. To his credit, he's worked on his defense and that's helped. He still needs to do a lot more to fix it though. I still give him credit for being a ballsy fighter with a tremendous self-confidence and will to win.

I expected more from him technically. His mental toughness has carried him beyond the limits of his gifts. It'll be interesting to see if experiencing defeat affects that mental toughness.
