Who are they?
Are there even 10?
From the looks of the posts around here, one would think there is an overflowing abundance of "slick", Black american fighters.
your a ****in retard, first off regardless of how Raheem beat Morales and the fukin excuses with the weight class and it being a tune up fight, bottom line is that Raheem beat him and made him look washed up that fight, no it didn't mean all of a sudden Raheem should be the #1 guy all of a sudden but I would say he deserved at least a shot a Manny instead of Manny going on to fight Morales against 2 more times and in between those two fights with Morales he fought fukin Oscar Larios, then after the 3rd and final fight with Morales he went on to fight Jorge Solis, but yet I guess he never hand "TIME" to fight Raheem
as for Slick being a strategy, dumb a$$ I just gave you an example of guys who are not "Slick" but used a slick strategy to defeat certain opponents, Adamek vs Arreola, what comes "NATURAL" IS ATHLETICISM especially for many of the Black Fighters...not fukin Slickness you clown, it is training for your reflex, it is training to help you improve your head movement and stuff like that...what you can't do is training a guy to be more athletic then what he is, it is the Athleticism that you either have or you don't now the fukin "Slickness"
lol what a moron. if he's not the #1 option how can you say pac ducked him? and pac doesn't have a belt during that time so what in the world raheem deserved a shot for? raheem doesn't have a title as well so there's no point in fighting him. pac fought morales again because he was offered a big amount of money...an amount that was 5 times bigger than what he can get fighting raheem. and also there was the revenge factor being that morales beat pac in their first match. and what happened to raheem after he beat morales? he lost to freitas making him more insignificant. fighting larios and solis made more sense business-wise because the 2 mexicans had 10x more fans than raheem.
and lmao again at slick strategy. so if anybody tries to box and move around the ring eventhough he's awkward you call that a slick strategy? what an idiot:lol1:
and having good reflexes can now be acquired through training eh? good reflexes are natural dumbass...if you don't have it you never will even if you kill yourself in training. slick fighters have better body movements and ring generalship because they have the natural ability more than what they do in training. training can enhance slickness but it can not create one. being slick is more natural than acquired. don't be stupid:nutkick:
bull$hit analogy. morales went up to 135 for the first time to fight raheem as a tune up. it turned out he bit more than he can chew. raheem beat him, so what? does that automatically made him the first option for pac? not to mention they were at different weight level during that time. pac has so many better options at 130 during that time than fighting raheem. raheem is just a flash in the pan, he was lucky he caught morales on his off-night. i can still remember that fight morales tried to tuck his one hand behind his back in the latter rounds just to lure raheem to fight but the latter was running like a ***** knowing he's ahead in the scorecards. nobody ducked him...he's not special.
and lol at your slick is not a style but a strategy :lol1:
strategies are made whereas styles are natural. being slick is a natural thing. if you don't have it you can never be one even if your brains bleed trying to strategize it. so much about being a self-righteous true boxing fan. more like a stupid loudmouth.

if what ur saying is true then brawler, boxer and swarmer can also just be considered strategies, because some of the fighters that usually fight that way, dont always fight that way.
that is true also, you have boxers who can brawl a little and brawlers who do have a little boxing skills
but it is also extremely tough for a Brawler to outbox and Boxer just like it would be tough for a Boxer to out Brawl a Brawler, sure it is a few guys in boxing that can switch it up and use all kind of styles to defeat their opponent but not many of them
pacquiao ducked campbell (and casmayor) to take on a lesser oponent in diaz. he did it several times before and since, taking on straight forward fighters rather than slick boxers. campbell just pointed it out and brought extra attention to it with the racial thing.
Lol He ducked Old man Campbell and Grandpa Casamayor and fought 2 HOF fighters back to back one of them was the Ring junior weterweight champ, and is now fighting 3 of the 10 best welterweights of the last 10 years back to back to back. Yeah brilliant deduction dumbass!
HOW!!! Mayweather don't always fight "SLICK" he didn't fight slick against Mosley, he actually stood in front Mosley all night
Adamek is not a Slick Fighter but he used a Slick Strategy to beat Chris Arreola
it all depends on who you are fighting, that slick stuff works great when you are fighting a slower opponent but when you are fighting someone just as fast if not faster then you have to be able to switch it up and use something different, another example is Nate Campbell vs Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell is usually slick and clever but he fought inside that fight and basically beat Diaz at his own game
so to me SLICK is a Strategy...not a Style....BRAWLER, BOXER now those are "STYLES"
if what ur saying is true then brawler, boxer and swarmer can also just be considered strategies, because some of the fighters that usually fight that way, dont always fight that way.
many of you guys are PATHETIC and a FUKIN embarrassment to the TRUE HARDCORE BOXING FANS
most of you don't even know what "SLICK" is, many of you fukin retards think that Slick basically means Black and that is not the case
and to make things worse many of the black fighters you guys are listed are NOT even "Slick" and the Thread starter was basically trying to start some sh!t anyway but starting this Thread, you could have just asked which Black fighter did Manny duck instead of making it about "Black Slick Fighters" in general
and clearly many of you have been watching boxing very long because...YES...Manny did duck Raheem (not saying he did it on purpose, it could have been his promoters that avoided that fight for him)...why? because instead of fighting Raheem after Raheem DESTROYED Morales, Pacman still went on to fight Morales again even after Raheem already beat him, it is currently like the Mosley situation, he and his trainer turned down Mosley...but yet they are fighting the guy that Mosley destroyed...it is the EXACT SAME Scenario if you really look at it
and that is not to say Pacquiao could not beat Raheem or Mosley but it does look a little suspicious, if people can make thread after thread after thread about Mayweather flaws and say that he ducked this or that fighter then people shouldn't have a problem with someone points out Manny Flaws, Pacquiao and Mayweather fans are EXTREMELY Sensitive lol
and by the way "SLICK" is not a Style...IT IS MORE OF A STRATEGY!

nahhh...slick is definitely a style bro
HOW!!! Mayweather don't always fight "SLICK" he didn't fight slick against Mosley, he actually stood in front Mosley all night

Ask the resident black supremacists and their followers since they're the ones who are constantly bringing it up.
"slick, african american style".
lol, when did that become a style?
the race thing is something campbell brought up, he did that bcuz its controversial and would create headlines so more ppl would read what he had to say.
saying pac avoids blacks was never the point he was trying to make, anyone can see that. its about style. peps style, locches style etc. fighters with great technical and strategical skills. fighters who can use their legs and move their head, fighters with good defense and counterpunching. boxers!
it is a fact pacquiao avoided boxers, regardless of colour. pacquiao ducked campbell (and casmayor) to take on a lesser oponent in diaz. he did it several times before and since, taking on straight forward fighters rather than slick boxers. campbell just pointed it out and brought extra attention to it with the racial thing.
the few times pacquiao fought technical fighters he lost or did poorly. sasakul was beating him when pac landed a hail mary, JMM beat him twice and got screwed. since then he avoided ppl who dont come to him and try to make the fight at all times.
but go ahead, keep bringing up race like it was supposed to mean something to avoid the real point.
This Is WHAT YOU CALL SLICK:
for you fukin retards that is just posting what ever black fighter you can think of and calling them "SLICK" lol DUMB A$$es!

if zahir raheem is the definition of a slick black american fighter then it's a shame for people to bring up that "slick" thing like it's something big.
i don't consider that phony as slick. he sure likes to move a lot and use the ring and tries to be fancy with his footwork but his style is more of superficial. he's not smooth and clever that's why when he's confronted with even a not so skilled fighter he folded. his career crashed even before he could take off and has faded to obscurity.
according to you guys Pac always fighting opponents past their prime or not the best or not slick or whatever
it's called "testing the waters"
floyd climb thru six weight classes also not fighting the best
i bet you that Pac would've fought them if not for DLH cherrypicking him
the testing the waters excuse is that he never fought at 135 before and wouldnt carry the weight well. pac knew and his team knew that wasnt the case though, they know his body. and the way hes performed over 135 ever since, not being able to make the weight that excuse has been proven to have no grounds.
ofcourse u will defend pac, but the fact is he didnt fight them. he ducked them. thats just a fact, floyd doing the same has nothing to do with this subject. im a boxing fan, not a fan of a single fighter who happens to be popular at the moment and makiing e-wars with other fake fans.
pac doesnt fight the best, some are washed up, others are just garbage like diaz. diaz isnt as good as casamayor or campbell, simple as that. he took a easier route. DUCKING! there is no way around it.
Guzman? He is not even AA. Tell me who he beat on Pacs level to prove your point in his chances? none!
What retarded reading comprehension. I never mentioned his chances against Pacquiao.
Top Rank, Roach, Pacquiao collectively ducked him, plain and simple. Guzman never got a shot to fight someone on Morales', Marquez', Barrera's, Pacquiao's level, but if he did, he'd have been a much better challenge than Jorge Solis, past prime Barrera, or David Diaz.
Clottey beat Bradley,Alexander,Campbell,Casa...
Margo beat them as well,he would submit lil Bradley like a hoe and rape him.
The Cotto who beat Foreman beat them as well.
When Pac was 135,he just moved up to fight DLH,he didn't duck Campbum and Casa.
Then he fought Fatton=money and lineal title at 140,then Cotto.
Pacquiao goes for the big fights,Cotto,Margo,Hatton and DLH are bigger names than the guys you named.
You can make a case for Diaz but dude was WBC champ, not the bum of the month. It was Manny's first fight at 135.
gotta love hyoptheticals. clottey isnt even that good so where the hell do u get the idea that he beats all of these fighters???
:pat:
I was expecting a more tougher fighters..
raheem, campbell are just WAAAY.. out of league.
They can tag-fight Manny to make it even.
Mosley was a good choice, but the possiblities were never there.
Mayweather is a good fighter aswell, but he prefer women to fight.
Bradley is a good choice, I hope it happens, he'll retire him i believe.
I'm telling you man, Raheem? Pac has the speed and footwork to catch him and stop him within 5. Campbell? He'd start seeing spots at the end of the first minute.
With that said, I would not mind seeing it, but there were better, more accomplished opponents out there than those two. As you know though, those names are thrown in the mix to make it appear that Manny is afraid of Black americans.
Man this thread is ignorant in so many ways. What the hell does race have to do with a Boxers fighting style?
Ask the resident black supremacists and their followers since they're the ones who are constantly bringing it up.
"slick, african american style".
lol, when did that become a style?
casamyor and campbell who were the two best LWs in the world. not david fukking diaz who pac fought instead. casamyor and campbell would both have knocked diaz out easily, if u know anything about boxing u have to realize that. age is a lame excuse, they were both past their primes yes, but they were both ten times better than diaz regardless of their age. that simply cant be ignored.
who has clottey looked good against himself? he didnt look good against judah, he barely won and struggled badly. he lost to margarito. do u mean a washed up diego corrales way over his best weight? is that when clottey proved himself? im trying to figure it out.
margarito cant beat any legit WW or MW out there. thats almost as absurd as david siaz being better than casamayor and campbell. try watching boxing instead of just readin the headlines, okey kid? then come back, for now gtfo.
