De La Hoya was blatantly a weight drained shell of himself and Hatton has always been overrated but regardless of that, he was not the same fighter he was before the Mayweather loss. Well, hatton was only not the same after the floyd fight, because when he fought Pac he was a fighter with one loss on his resume. He wasnt neccesarily a worse fighter when he fought Pac though. Before losing to Floyd he nearly lost to Collazo. So the potential to lose was always there for Hatton. Plus Floyd got so much help from the ref. If Collazo had got that much help he would have beat Hatton before Floyd. Having said what I said above, Pacquioa does have a better resume IMO, but don't compare the fighters that they've both fought. Mayweather did fight better 'versions' of both of them. Its debateable whether hatton was better against Floyd than he was against Pac. He had a terrible game plan against pac is all i can say.

Floyds hasnt beat his opponents like Pac does. Pac has the better resume and beats people better than Floyd. There common opponents are DLH and Hatton and Pac did much, much better. SSM was exposed for the competent boxer he is against Mora. SSM is nothing more and nothing less than that, competent. Floyds outboxing SSM has to be taken into context. Floyd is nowhere near the fighter Manny is. Resume and level of opposition are worlds apart. It is really not fair to compare Floyd to Manny. Perhaps his fans would get better responses from true boxing fans if they spent their time comparing Floyd to Joey Gamache or Sven Otke.

MAB Morales and Marquez is the best on his resume and Manny went 1-1-1 against those guys in prime. even tho we can argue that Morales was never in his prime against Pacquiao even when he beat him
