Life without absolutely the strong and the weak, as long as the unremitting efforts, will eventually get the results you want.
If that quotes is for Toney to win against ufc, **** off.
Brock Lesnar
Frank Mir
Roy Nelson
Randy Couture
Gabrial Gonzaga
Ryan Bader
The Nog Bros.
Rashad Evans
Damian Maia
Cain Valesquez
Rashad Evans
Junior Dos Santos
Lyoto Machida
Krystof Sosynski
Phil Davis
Tito Ortiz
Matt Hamill
etc....
And before you say Vera has no ground, Vera has black belts in Judo and BJJ from Lloyd Irvin. Randy beat him with cage stalling because dumbass boxing judges think that leaning on someone is "controling the cage".
Really? Those on the bold are the one who uses wrestling in actual mma fights. Cmon you you have to admit, almost all of the heavyweight elites and light heavy are fighting toe to toe. Even the recent champions, Machida, Rua, and Evans. You think Machida would try to take it to the ground, because he's brazilian but he mostly practice karate. And the reigning champion Rua, he fought Machida on stand up didnt he?
And with Brandon Vera, he won against Couture because of accurate striking. Thank you for agreeing with my point.
Name me a handful of heavyweights or lightheavy that fights on the ground?

No they don't,,, its a completely different style of fighting, elbows 'et all.
You can fight and be great on either sport but never on both.
Name me a handful of heavyweights or lightheavy that fights on the ground? The fact is mostly the heavies fights toe to toe, including Randy Couture. But when he fights with James toney? what did he do? He could have tested his still to a pro boxer, but he didnt.
These 2 fought james toney. They can tell you how great he is in boxing. When grappling, choking, elbows or maybe getting kicked to the head becomes another thing for him to worry about, he will not last long ,,, and again he will tapout.
Yeah they can tell how great he is in boxing, as you know Toney stayed with Roy to a ud. But with Coutour isnt it strange, why dana face Toney against him on first fight? he been fighting stand up on his recent fights? Now when he fights Toney he suddenly back to his wrestling? He was scared, Randy Couture was scared. But what will happen if he fights with Rampage, did you know Rampage been fighting toe to toe? Do you think Rampage has a better chance against Toney in boxing?
where does this perfect question should be asked, rather than in this boxing forum? you wanna know why? because boxing fans dont know that ufc heavyweights elite are fighting stand up. Handful are just an exemption. Boxing fans should be informed that boxers have a better chance in UFC than they ever imagine.

Please make your question more clearly please, what does roy jones, and holyfield do in james toney in ufc topic?

you posed a question as if a common opinion here. its not. therefore, asking this sort of question here is redundant, be it a boxing related question or not.

you said that yourself that page has wrestling skills. you know why page fight standing up is because he know he has the edge in that skill over his opponents. if page thinks toney, has the edge, page will bring the finght on the ground. same with liddle who has at least familiar in the ground and silva who is actually a blackbelt bjj.
art of war 101, my friend.
I said Rampage has a wrestling skills to a amateur, means like a beginner. He doesnt use it, he never been good at it. And you know why Randy Couture been standing up? because he think he has the advantage, because he beat chuck liddell on his game. Right? Do you think Rampage think he has a advantage in power or skills against a pro boxer? I doubt it. And he would never bring it in the ground, as a fact he in his recent fights he never tried to.
Jack Dempsy would be the MAN in mma, unlike you close minded douchbags who say grappling is gay dont understand that jack dempsy trained in grappling as a way to increase his strength and conditioning.
When you grapple specialy in the clinch it gives you hella of a workout in terms of cardio and it builds functional strength in terms of moving people or object and disbalancing anyone who gets in your way.
You just have to make sure a boxer incorporates the grappling according to his boxing style and training regiman. I train judo bro and bro karo parisyan is the man bro his super strong and he would dump you on your head and he has one HELL of a cardio for a guy who eats junk food like CRAZY during his training camps but thanks to his judo/grappling his cardio is always there for a 5 minute rounds

you're asking this question on a boxing forum. is that a common opinion here? highly unlikely.
is james toney a boxer? i do think this question is applicable in a boxing forum.
You should ask roy jones or evander holyfield that question. Please don't ask silva.
Please make your question more clearly please, what does roy jones, and holyfield do in james toney in ufc topic?
Boxers can't survive if they get tackled, which is very likely.
Boxers should just stick to boxing and stop giving MMA more ammunition
UFC been about match ups, but how came its all been stand up right now? How seen recent ufc heavyweights championship bouts? its all been toe to toe? Its like boxing with small ass gloves? Dont you think a boxer would do great against them?
Toney's ****ing old man. People shouldn't use it based on that. I don't think Toney could beat those guys anyway. Silva would do him dirty standing up let alone on the ground.
I dont think Silva would do hhim "dirty" on stand up as you said. I do think James Toney stand up better than Silva. And with on the ground, did you know Silva been take down numerous time already? He never tried to take down his opponent, I doubt he will do the same with Toney. He's not the same with Couture, Silva got pride. Couture been fighting stand up on his recent fights, including Vera. But with James Toney he suddenly back to his wrestling roots?????
Good answer you have there good friend. Did you know Rampage been fighting stand up on his past few fights? He been known to have wrestling skills compare to a amateur. So who's boxing is more polish Rampage or toney?
You should ask roy jones or evander holyfield that question. Please don't ask silva.
