Hey everyone! My name is Wes and I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a wrestling background and have been training with an MMA fighter. I'm 40 years old and have found a new love............Boxing! I have really gotten into it and look to you guys here to share your knowledge and experience with me. I just bought and heavy bag and love striking it. It is a Title 150 pound big boy! I have been using some Everlast MMA Gloves but they suck! Now here is my question? I need some gloves to use on my double end bag and heavy bag. I want to go with boxing gloves and I've been looking at the Cleto Reyes super bag gloves. They are about $130.00 bucks.
I wanted to get your opinion on these to see if there was anything better. I'm a big hitter and need something thats going to hold up. Money really isn't a concern. I do like to have the best. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again!:biggthump
Fuck off, Wes.
sheesh...that's the last time i make an alt around here
please bring me up to speed. I'm a member of many communities, but never heard of ALT. What the hell does that mean?
What up Wes? Its a pleasure to have you join our site to the sport we love. For gloves, I love Grant gloves but they are quite expensive. Everlast has brought out some great gloves that I use for training, and most of them are decently priced. It all depends really, Fighting gloves are well padded and ringside gloves are good for bag work too. Just make sure you use 16 oz gloves or higher. Using anything lower will possibly hurt your hands, and make sure they are wrapped well. WELCOME
