you know Vitali does a good job on bullying fighters on the inside with his incredible strength. He would either push them back outta range, tie them up or just flat out out-muscle them on the inside. Wlad has a similar build and is just as strong, so even if someone could get on the inside like that......I'm sure Wlad would do what Vitali does.
Dwyer brought up Ali, but honestly Ali is no where near as strong as Wlad, so what if someone got on the inside of Wlad and still got domintated (which is what I'm almost positive will happen)?
Or he runs away. Vitali's fights with Arreola and Sanders come to mind when seeing Vitali in full-on retreat mode when in danger.
It's easy to say " put the pressure on, keep your head moving, throw to the body, etc" but actually doing against Wladimir is a different story.
Wlad's height and reach makes it hard to get inside but when you include his accurate hard jab and the power his right hand has, it makes it that much harder. Also include that when you do get inside against Wlad, he ties you up pretty much everytime.

Evander Holyfield
Holy is the only guy to defeat 6-5 240 Riddick Bowe
Ko'd 6-5 230 Prime Buster Douglas
and he fought a close Draw with the 6-5 244 Lennox Lewis
Laugh all you want but 48 yr old Evander has a good a chance as anyone.
There's no Ricky Hatton in the HW division that can pounce to the inside and do work on the inside and to the body. The Klitschko's have no one to worry about.
I don't need this dumbaz to see the flaws. Wlad is lucky He didn't face Frazier, Tyson or any strong inside fighter in his era. Emmanuel has done a great job making him a better boxer, but I can see a good inside fighter staying in his chest all day hammering to the body and pushing him out of balance. Some what who knows how to pass a jab for God sake. I'm not sure What game plan Peter had, but He had a lot of opportunities to punish Wlad's body and try to come with some plan to beat the champ.
He has zip plan and beat Wlad on hugging points that don't count.
Peter should retire.
Tua was never an elite fighter, the current Wlad beats any version of Tua.
Never said throw an prime Tua in there with Wlad and he wins. Throw a prime Tua in there with the constant body work game plan and maybe we have a fight.
If tua was in his prime he could beat Wladimir with that gameplan but he is washed up.

They do attempt, they just end up smothering themselves trying to do it. And give up completely as the rounds go on.
Sidenote: Didn't you say yesterday, that it takes someone as big as the Klitschko's with a great Jab to beat them?
In case your trying to catch me slipping yes I said that in one thread and after watching the Peter fight I also said in another thread for smaller fighters to win against the Klits they have to do body work.
Exactly what I said before even watching this video. No one ever attempts a dedicated body work on the Klitschkos.
It's because he keeps his opponents at a distance with his jab and height advantage with most of them.
It's really hard to go to the body when you're eating a jab followed by a straight right...
