No one better out there, different fighters (Khan and Mayweather) but speed wise they are comparable and Khan is pretty much the same size and length as Mayweather too.
Joan Guzman would be the best sparring partner Pacquiao could have to prepare for Mayweather bar none. Khan can only simulate the speed, Guzman can simulate the style, technique, skills, and speed.
I find it hilarious that Roach didn't even mention his name when he was asked what sparring partners he would use when they thought the fight was going to happen around Dec.
He mentioned Khan and Tim Bradley (Bradley said he wouldn't accept if he was offered) as possible sparring partners. But no Guzman and I find it suspicious. Forbes trains and is friends with the Mayweather camp so he'd never accept it anyway.
guzman would be much better than khan if you need a sparrin partner to prepare u for floyd

your buggin out, most of floyds speed comes from his upper body movement and khan doesn't have that i honestly don't see anyone that has that upper body movement like floyd
And who might be the right person Floyd needs to spar if the coward grows some balls and finally fights Pac? The one that will keep coming at him at full force from round one till the end. Pac punches a lot, the chances of landing something Floyd may not able to see are higher. Floyd sees his chances and Pac chances (unlike the flomos) that is why he went to vacation when he sensed Pac will agree to everything he demands.

good point, but it's the speed that he has to worry about not the power.
besides, if pac can handle cotto's punches, he can handle floyd's.
no cotto punches you can see a mile away. and the only real hard shots was the jabs everything manny was guarded up against pretty much after the 4th round. why do you think marquez hurt manny so manny times in 2 fights and had manny wobbled and dazed. floyd is going to hit manny with alot of shots he dont see comming and off balance and accurate with speed and power.

What are you on about?
You're in dreamland if you think Khan is some great prep to face Mayweather. If you think all Pac has to worry about is 'speed' per se. Or if you think 'high guard + straight right hand + jab' is all Pac needs in a partner to solve the riddle of prepping for the nuances of Mayweather's style.
Stevie Forbes >>>>>> Khan for prepping for Floyd.
Except Pac can't use him. :lol1: :lol1:
You + TS = 2 hopeless Khan bumsniffs.
Night, fellas. :lol1:
yeh just selectively ignore the rest of my comment, why?

I notice every opponent talks about how surprised they were about floyd's power. It seems opponents use his style to judge his power. Unlike other so called "defensive fighters" floyd has ko'd 25/41 (61%) opponents.
I don't know if Cotto hits harder.
What are you on about. Khans jab, straight Right, even ear muff defence cos floyd doesnt use shoulder roll aganst soutpaws. Yeh hes not gonna prepare him for the upper body movement, footwork or ring smarts, but who will, its a good base having Khan. What you thnk expert?
Exactly, unless Pac goes and gets Gamboa and other small guys for speed. Khan is the best he can get, for all round game I believe he's the best period.
Top 3 fighters in the world:
1.Pacquiao/Mayweather
2.Mayweather/Pacquiao
3.Khan
Like Khan can imitate what Mayweather does.
Threadstarter is so bereft of a clue, it's hard to know where to start.
This guy is really clinging to the romantic notion that Pac will beat Floyd. Letting him have it will give me jokes down the line.

GTFO moron, when did I say they fought similar? I even stated they don't.
Good point. But floyd's power is the key. i think its very underrated.
