in terms of activity he`s less active in the ring as compared to his lower weight classes where he was more offensive minded and willing to take more risks, but as an all around boxer i think he`s more polished and complete now than ever b4, so i say he`s in his prime or in other words i say the Floyd that beat SSM beats every other Floyd of the past thats my take
Kinda similar to how a younger Kobe Bryant was way more athletic and could do a lot of things that kobe of now cant do but if u ask me i`d say kobe was in his prime these last three years, coz despite his diminishing physical abilities he`s been more complete as a basketball player these last 3 years than he ever was in his career and hence a better player than he ever was

He's lost one round in 24 rounds of boxing, I don't think he's ever had good of a streak. I don't think he'll get better but he isn't worse than he ever was so I guess that means he's still in his prime. Oh, and if he isn't he has no one to blame but himself, ducking and dodging as flawlessly as he does in the ring.

If Pac does fight him, will he be fighting a past prime money may?
simply put......YES. He has been declining physically in terms of speed (footspeed more than hand) and reflexes since the Baldomir fight IMHO. Some posters say after the ODLH fight.
Mentally he appears to be sharper than ever.....i think the manner in which he trained for Mosley is testament to that. He had a training session on the Thur night before the fight (on Saturday).
he didnt try. if he hit JMM the way he was beating on shane, he would have sparked JMM out
flomo tactic: excuses, excuses, excuses
all his other recent fights were against past prime opponents but even if floyd is past his prime he is still to good to lose to manny
floyd isn't past his prime, but he knows pac will kick his azz and take his 0... that why that ignorant racist biitch is in hiding.

Now I just don't see this, He could mash Marquez's face in all 12 rounds and I don't think he'd spark out Marquez, he could have stopped him for sure but he wouldn't legitimately knock out Marquez. Marquez may be a few weightclasses smaller than Mayweather but he isn't an easy man to put out.
It takes 2 to Tango!!
Floyd still has 1 great fight in him, 2 tops, If he wants to keep that shiney unblemished record intact. Now although I say this... I still think he'd beat Manny.. Not because I'm a hater, only because I believe Floyds' Defensive abilities are hands down the best in boxing to date.
Floyd Jr is not only past his prime but he isn't that active!
But what caught my attention is this latest news/photo:
"(Photos) Floyd cheers for Manny in 2006 Morales fight"

his best years are behind him. his ring smarts are still there but his physical prime and all that is behind him. floyd is great but not the same anymore
Lol...............
Thats what I was thinking.
He couldn't knock Marquez out.
^ But marquez is a great helluva fighter!!!
And Mosley is a great fighter, but cmon.
imo he damn well could have finished off marquez. i don't know why he didn't.
no hes peaked but hes not past his prime. the idiots that just quack what roach said and that his legs are gone are bafoons. the guy acyually does care to some degree what the public thinks about him, and that was those idiots that called his ring generalship, footwork, and counter punching "running" he proved that summarily wrong by staying in the pocket with the hardest hitting welterweight at this time sugar shane mosley. which, those same dumbasses, and i cant stress how incredibly stupid they are, discredited in blatant disregard for facts and logic, because of pure hatred and some deranged, convoluted belief in a certain boxers divinity.
hard to say. Hes gotten slower over the years, but every fighter that gains weight gets slower, regardless of prime.
I would say hes overall slightly past his best, but its such a low drop that its nothing worth noting.
