He's the 2nd highest paid athlete in sports, but if you don't count sponsorship, he's #1 in sports throughout the World. 99% of his revenue comes from his fights. Floyd barely has any sponsors, his sponsorship contracts seem to be one and done's. He had something with the Jordan Brand that didn't last either. It's a hazard to have him representing your brand. Sponsors are way too fickle anyway, so fukc em.

Kobe signed with Nike in 06 IIRC...when he left Addidas, he also dropped #8 and went to #24 maybe he signed an extension in 06. i just looked it up. 2003 , same time as the skank extortion attempt.

yeah i just looked it up. kobe signed a 6 year deal with adidas 1997 season. rape case was summer 2003. so he was with nike. nike swooped him up after the adidas contract expired. nike was the only one that didn't drop him. nutella , mcdonald's , upper deck , sprite/coke all dropped him.
