Greenburg wants this fight because Aydin is a bum who will make Berto look good. Jo JO Dan was blatently ROBBED in Turkey, Aydin shouldn't have any interim title. Peter Wlad is a much more interesting fight then Berto Aydin.

Berto is a huge waste of money. That's what I tend to think as well. As HBO can pump all this money into Berto but in the long run is he even that marketable?

Thats the deal though,Aydin knows he will lose.....evryone knows he would lose, he is not good at all, its good for him if the fight doesnt happen and Berto gets stripped......but since its the biggest payday right now, Aydin would take this fight in Turkey in a heartbeat(hoping for luck and hometown bias.) no one cares about this fight....HBO could probably make a crazy good fight on the lower weight classes with this 1.2 mill.....thats my issue......if Berto wants to fight a non challenge to either duck or keep a trinket belt, let him do it overseas, where he doesnt burn HBO budget..... again fu.ck HBO.... HBO could do a nice BAD card for 1.2 million. Well the whole thing is if that is what they are thinking it is likely that Berto looks impressive and looking impressive against a guy with a glossy record (even if unknown) generally moves a guy forward. HBO has spent a lot on Berto, they have two option keep pushing forward or cut their loses. They are obviously choosing the former so the best route (to me) is to put Berto in a good spot to look excellent then put him in with someone better then you make a decision on what to do. I don't mind what HBO does much as I find most of ther fights watchable but they could certainly be more efficent with what they do. Why buy one fight when you can buy 3 fights for four times as much~

Still he is the known guy to HBO, Aydin wouldn't get a sniff at HBO without Berto. 75/25 is fair for a guy who has fought in the US exactly 1 time that was on ESPN I believe if it was even on TV.
