ali turned his trash talks into gold...meaning he backed it up. that's what made him standout. a lot of fighters like to trash talk but few can back it up.

I don't remember a lot of my favorite quotes verbatim, period. There's too much stuff I've ever heard, read and absorbed to be able to remember *everything* on command. I was making observations, the last of which is an observation that you guys put way too much stock in what fighters "say" to/about each other. I don't care what Pacquiao says about Floyd or what other fighters say about any fighters I support. That's woman business. Observe your own tone earlier in the discussion, belligerent, posting baby-bottles and such at people. It's natural that people will interpret a belligerent, riled-up tone and end up taking shots at you rather than just debating you in a straightforward way. Cool video Ali is pure class in and out of the ring, Mayweather is just class in the ring.

Floyd trash talking skills sucks, he might say one or two things here and there that is funny and great. But, overall he sucks, delivery sucks, is just overrated(might be the only thing overrated about him though). Only his fan boys find what he says amusing.

Ali is the best trash talker ever. Period. Any sport. Poetic. Shocking. Controversial. Hilarious. Mayweather's trash talking is a cheap rip off. ^^^^^^^Coming from a diehard Mayweather fan. Straight truth. Ali could be offensive, but he was still very creative and entertaining doing so. If they had a 24/7 or something similar then, it would have been among the most brilliant programming ever aired. Just look at When We Were Kings, which is a great, great documentary.
