Freddie Roach to train Chad Dawson

Must admit I didnt like Freddie comparing Dawson to Chavez jr though. Dawson has accomplished much more that Chavez jr who has been against softer competition than Chad.

I think Chad needs a trainer who is in charge.. Some fighters these days call the shots in their training camp.. They tell what the trainers to do.. Thats NOT how its supposed to be.. Look at Cottos fight with Pacman.. Chad has been retarded ever since he left floyd sr.. I hate senior but i know hes dedicated to the sport.. chad wants to have his whole family around in camp.. **** that.. u need to dedicate urself to go to war.. period.. Rant over

Come on freddy why dont you start grooming some young talent from the get go I know right, I don't understand why he is not working with someone lets say like Jose Benavidez Jr.

now people is going to jump on Dawson's bandwagon...OMG! Dawson is a great talent but has no self discipline or killer instinct, if Roach can help him with this things then Dawson will bounce back from that loss against Pascal with no Problem, Roach don't have to do much because the talent and the skills are already in place Not necessarily true. People still hate Amir Khan and he's with Freddie Roach. However if he comes into the Pascal rematch throwing a lot of punches and stops him, I'm sure he'll get a few new sackriders, but not because of Roach. It would be because he stopped fighting like a girl.

that would be crazy good for Chad.....he was better when he was with Birmingham and Floyd Sr...Mustafa sucks...he didnt tell Chad to not try to stop Glen Johnson, like Chad tried to do early in their first fight....then in the second Tarver Johnson fights, Chad started doing more of the useless, overcautious, ineffective cutey posing ****, instead of the boxing he used to do(jab, circling, combinations and bodywork) and now against Pascal, its like he didnt train to not let Pascal escape from the ropes....just terrible

Exactly what Chad needs He can come back from the defeat a better fighter no doubt.

Dawson needs someone that can motivate him to throw punches. he don't need anymore technique.

Outside of world champions, Freddie trains a lot of young unknowns, and you can find him in their corner at tiny ass venues. Roach lives boxing. No wife, no kids, just the gym. Any guy that he thinks he can help, he will train. Quit being a hater.
