How is a 1 year ban enough for a serious crime in this sport? Can anyone explain to me how a cheater deserves a big fat pay-check? Technically he was caught "attempting" to cheat, and didn't actually commit the "crime". That being said, I do believe he knew what was what, and i also do not believe he deserves a payday of this caliber, or even the spotlight. You know as well as any of us that it's business first, and business last. If there is a dollar to be made or a dollar to be lifted, you better believe someone is figuring out a way to get that done.
